Easy day exercise: Active stretching in the morning is more than 15 minutes and stable chores and horse care today. Rose the nurse helped with wound care on my horse's ear from another horse's bite. No lasting disfiguration, but a it requires daily cleaning and care. It's a good way for me to spend more time with the horse.
Calories: less exercise demands less calories, but I'm below my intake limit
Tracking: good.
Tomorrow is Valentine's Day but no big meals planned. It's not that kind of a holiday.3 -
13th February:
Difficult work day yesterday. Was examining in Lyon, an easy 2-hour train journey, plus 20 minutes metro to the venue. It had been snowing there and was freezing cold! Found that a colleague hadn't turned up and had to examine extra candidates, so missed the earlier train back and the later train had 3 hours delay! Waiting at cold station, all shops closed so no food. Home after 11pm, straight to bed!
Stayed under calories, hobbled for 20 minutes through snow and slush, finished tracking this morning!9 -

For those with apple watches there is a Heart Month Challenge for tomorrow (14Feb) of at least 60 minutes of exercise. I'm going to try my best to up my time and make it. I'm going to have to be strict for the rest of the month as I only have one pass day left and am planning to use it next Saturday for a super excellent restaurant meal. It's a good thing this is a short month.4 -

Freezing cold ❄ and 🌬 wind here too. I wish I could go ⛸ing though...
Today was centerred around the kids👩👦👦 (kinda this way:🤱). So no time to do a HIIT, since they wouldn't have gotten fresh air unless I went with them 🚶♀️. The two long walks would have been enough activity, but I had 🍩 (traditional around this time here), so I had to burn 🔥 that, if I did not want to use a pass. Got a power HIIT 🤸♀️ in late in the evening, but I was still sad that it came to this again 🌜.
Also, I noticed that on high caloric, two many sweets days I drink less 🍶 water. No wonder I retain water ⚖!5 -
I was going to put pass day today but after accounting everything it's all OK! Think I sat there daydreaming what I could have to eat and drink but couldn't be bothered to move to get it! still very cold here and east winds, not good, take care out there everyone!
Exercise yes 10 min quigong, 20 min yoga, 34 min Rosemary Conley Brand new you dvd, 60 min cleaning, much too cold in the wind for me to go out in the cold, such a wimp!

Saturday - day 1 of our Valentine’s Weekend! We usually go out for Valentine’s to a favorite restaurant on the coast... the LAST time we ate out was there 2-14-20.
So we decided to re-invent Valentine’s. We came up with a meal & my husband surprised me by looking up recipes, creating a shopping list, shopping, and cooking all dishes but the one I had suggested!! I had Alexa play some “Love Songs” & we shared a slow dance (which we haven’t for years) in the kitchen as things roasted & baked.
Such fun! I set up a nice spot to eat side-by-side, decorated with a photo of us & my collection of glass hearts. Today, on the actual Valentine’s Day we will repurpose leftovers for lunch & have a repeat dinner tonight— and I’m

Both of us agreed that the highlight of the day was the slow dance! 😍 It was also fun to be able to completely be ourselves unlike in a restaurant haha
