Hahaha!!! Today has been much better. I took a mid day walk with my grandson and it kept the munchie monsters away.
Later tonight, I was cooking dinner and cut TF out of my thumb. Like knife hit bone. Luckily there is a combat medic in the house. My Daughter had me patched up in no time. Bleeding is not wanting to stop, so we will dermabond tomorrow once it plugs up.
Good times!!!

Finally back down to my "low" a couple of weeks ago. Back on track and trying to keep moving. I would really like to be over a pound lost weekly. I REALLY want to hit my 25 lbs lost milestone next week and am hoping for another whoosh.3 -

I really thought I would have a loss this week. I gained 1.5 lbs overnight, so here’s hoping the trend is downward. I’ve pushed through a tough week at the gym, and I’ve managed to walk every day. Hopefully it’s just water weight. 🤞4 -

Hi all!! I’ve been totally MIA for a few weeks. I moved jobs last week and the run up to that was super busy finishing things off. I also moved back to my apartment last week after being at my parents’ house since Christmas so loads of life admin to do now I’m back and then I’m also planning to move apartments in mid-April so prepping for that has been super busy too. We’ve been in full national lockdown here in the UK since the first week of Jan and things won’t open back up until end of March/April time so it’s been difficult too still not being able to see people and feel normal. Anyway I say all that to say my routine has massively slipped and I’m super bloated so I’m getting back on it this week now that I’m settled back into my apartment for a while. Here’s to a great March!!! 🤗6 -
The doc who performed the ultrasound said that since I’m at high risk for gestational diabetes due to my weight, it would be a good idea to check the dietary guidelines used for treatment and follow them pre-emptively to avoid getting diabetes altogether. She told me to bring this up at the prenatal clinic, and we have our first appointment on Tuesday. I’ve been already reading up on the diet today, and I’m going to start making some small changes already: white rice to dark rice, and no dessert.
The biggest hurdle in the diet seems to be eating small meals every 2-3 hours. I have to figure out a way of having sensible healthy meals that aren’t just endless carb snacking, and I really have to start eating lunch. Here’s hoping for a healthy year without diabetes!7 -

I was disappointed last week when the scale didn't budge. We are out last weekend right before the weigh-in and I think the salty meal must have caused water retention. So super happy with the big drop this week.5 -

Question- when you say loss to date, do you mean since joining the challenge or total in general. I just started with you guys, but my total LTD is 18.4

The Green Challenge Percentage of people who lost weight this week. No matter how small the loss the weights are recorded in green. Remember that even if your team doesn’t rank the highest in weight loss for the week you can still be the Green Percentage winner by having the most losses in your team! So keep it up!!

Just a mention...
Our spreadsheet does a wonderful thing and tracks our total weight lost. However, to do so, we need your high weight. This is where I get the info for the BREAKTHROUGHS and MILESTONES. If you would like, please provide your high weight and we can start celebrating! If you do not feel comfortable posting publicly, please feel free to DM me.

Great job with losses, everyone!
My day was, well, not good. I’m sick and tired of being sick and tired, and I’d love to fast forward over the next 3 weeks. We’re in lockdown so not much fun happening, and I’d love to have a little less first-trimester worrying, exhaustion and nausea left.
Oddest pregnancy symptom so far: the sound of my husband’s potato chips makes me nauseous. I hate potato chips in general and only eat them when the drunk munchies hit, and that hate has apparently been turned into nausea overdrive that activates by sound.3 -

WEEK 2 CHALLENGE -- CONSISTENCY 102
This is a continuation of March week 1...
It is a familiar kind of challenge - tracking the exact numbers of 2-3 things of your choice every single day. Just being consistent. And having alternatives if your plan gets derailed. Protect those numbers all week! Consistency is like a muscle - the more you do it, the better it gets.
