Rather stressful day emotionally. Started out with cheez it’s for breakfast. Followed the parenting advice I give my child and chose to turn my day around even though it started badly.
Exercise: ✅ 1 mile walk, 3 mile run OUTSIDE BECAUSE OUTSIDE WAS GLORIOUS TODAY ❤️
Calories: ✅
Tracking: ✅
2 pass days remain.
I really was so happy to be running outside on my trail again. A few spots where the snow hasn’t totally melted and wiping out was a worry but overall so good.7 -
Over cals today so my first pass used. Made a stupid decision at work this afternoon and ended up about 70 cals over. Then snacked on pretzels and strawberries at night so ended up 217 cals over. Could be worse. Not gonna beat myself up. I closed out my diary to enforce the mental “done”. See you all tomorrow!9

@SummerSkier Thanks for the photos of Bandit(o)!!
Regarding the too-skinny-mare: We cancelled the vet check until she recovers from a foreleg injury with abrasions and swelling. Apparently she got cast (caught under the stall pipe fence). I went to see her yesterday. It's too soon for a vet check. Hopefully, the swelling will resolve.5 -

Excellent opening post, @RangerRickL! This is how my parents keep very fit (apart from gardening). I think the links from @BMcC9 might be what I read on the forums, too - great suggestions and it does add up! I have to get up from my chair that very often, to make kids a snack, pick their dishes, wash them etc.
I walked 🚶♀️ and did a apt. friendly 😉 low impact cardio 🤸♀️, ate right and had 200cal left. Not that much, given that I set MFP to maintainance, but I am losing weight again! 👍6 -

I’m figuring out the bedtime mouth hunger: Fizzy water.
Spreading little bits of hunger throughout the day is manageable.
I’m calling/texting more friends & family members. Keeping busy with textile arts.
I have been really surprised how I like having a set number of calories per day & a way I distribute them over time in a set manner.
I am hoping I can figure out that calorie number that keeps me 153-155 with less effort. (Prior to this I’ve eaten in a range of calories.) I think this will be easier to tinker with also as I need fewer calories as I get older.
Optimistic!7 -

Today will be long. I did not sleep well last night and realized at 5 AM that it's my first try to find a Covid Vaccine day. I figure that is why I couldn't sleep. I can find a "first" shot but not a second. The places closest to my work don't have any. A coworker found one a block away a week ago. So ... I will keep looking.4 -
Yes on all 3.
Included lots of incidental exercise as well (more standing than sitting throughout the workday)
Official intentional exercise was 20 minutes for my walking game before work and more than 620 cals burned on my "(stationary) bike commute home" between getting off work and suppertime.5 -

looks like success to me. Right now you are in what I call the recovery phase. Give it longer to see where the 2100 goes. You have now stopped the bleeding and stabilized your weight to some extent from what was going on in late Feb as far as mindlessness to cals in. You may find that 2100 is not enough and you drop below your range over time. (think months). Consider 155.8 is .8 outside your range. If you did a statistical chart I am pretty sure you are less than a percentage over right now and with time and consistency it will trend down to where you want to be.2 -

Incidental/intentional activity - My home office is on the second floor, so I have been trying to get up and go downstairs more frequently as a physical and mental break from work. Work has been awful lately, but I feel better knowing that I am able to take charge/control of at least one part of my life (health).
@SummerSkier Glad Bandit is doing better, despite his thoroughbred ways5
