Hi My 2nd family and our amazing leader @RangerRickL i hve been bursting to let u know that i hve finally reached my goal weight and am now considered to be at the high end of a healthy BMI! Yay!! Something i hve not achieved since the age of around 13 years old! I cld not believe my eyes this morning wen i jumped on the scale. Ha ha! I hve lost 24kgs in total but the last 2kgs hve been the hardest of all! I honestly cld not hve done it without all ur suppport, guidance, tips and advice! Thank u all so much for being there for me. Being a part of UAC has been so therapeutic for me. I am aware that i need to continue with my new mindset and habits and not slip into old habits! Now that i am at goal i hve decided to loose another 2kgs before moving to maintaince so i have a buffer! Thanks again Rick and team!! Xox16

Went out on my bike ride this morning – about 30 minutes – hoping the fresh air and country views would help to clear my head. Still fragile, crying at the slightest thing.
I’ve lost weight so although I did log my food today, I’m not worrying about calories but trying to ensure I reach my protein goal and my goal of at least 7 portions of fruit and veg.
I’ve had messages of support from friends but the Covid rules mean that we are not supposed to meet, and certainly no hugging. My boyfriend did come round and I visited my mum.
One day at a time.

@lesdarts180 , you have the proper attitude! Your grandchildren will definitely need your support and they'll love having grandma keeping up with them, taking them on 🚴♀️tours or kicking it ⚽️. It's okay to cry, to be sad, to ask questions - just remember those around you, who love you and need you! 💐 They appreciate you being there! As for me, I virtually hug 🤗 you, tightly!
I am close to my target calories, including the exercise calories. Not so many burned, I spent the day working 👩💻. I did go for a 35min run 🏃♀️ and that went well. Trouble is, I am v. hungry as I write...

I started today thinking it would be an intentional pass day because Hubs and I were going to do a date night style dinner while the kiddo slept over Mimi’s house (she’s in our COVID bubble). Then my run burned more calories than I thought and I stayed under despite the Sicilian pizza so hey - I still have 2 pass days left and that’s pretty cool.
I started back on the antidepressants I stopped taking a year ago (don’t ask me why I thought just stopping meds I’ve been on for over a decade at the start of a pandemic was a smart idea because I have no idea what I was thinking either). I’m only two days in so they’re not effective yet but I’m excited about the idea of them being effective again. I’m also a little hopeful that they’ll help me drop to my goal quicker as I’m on one of the only ones that is known to be friendly to weight loss. (Might also explain why my progress slowed down a year ago when I stopped taking them.)
Overall, a good start to Spring. 🌸

It’s a work in progress... but I’m sure if I’m a bit more mindful, I can not try to eat my way out of stress... it never really helps, and you’re quite right, only gives me yet another issue to deal with...

Pass Days Used: (MAR16)Since my 40 lb KB is taking some getting used to, I've worked out my expected progression using a drop set approach with my 25 lb KB. However, I ended off the first week and then started the second week by advancing my workout progressions faster than expected.
The calendar has been adjusted as of MAR082021 to reflect that I may end up doing 8 sessions with only the 40 lb KB (not just 3, as laid out in the original plan). Still aiming for a consistent 30 min PR by month-end.
For the weekend of the 20 & 21, my times may be faster because it's the only time this month I'm not required to do the 3 sets of ancillary exercises (weighted squats). But, it's also the first time I'm using the 40 lb KB exclusively.
