Hi everyone! I’m Maryann and back for my 4th month. I’m 37 and have one kiddo - two if you count my husband 😂. I’m 61lbs into an 80lb journey, and it’s taken me 18 months to make it this far - so I’m a slow and steady girl when it comes to losing weight. One of my major fitness goals it to be able to do a pull-up by the end of 2021.6

Good morning my UAC friends back for another month here in the Adirondacks a light dusting of snow this morning but spring is coming. I hit my lowest weight this morning in years had to get on the scale twice too make sure it was correct!! A nice accomplishment and part is due to being accountable which UAC is so good at. I do wish everyone success this month and as so many others have said don’t give up keep at it there is a saying I found on line that I have on my watch at times it says “Don’t stop when you are tired. STOP when you are DONE “ remember keep going.6

Good morning! I will be playing catch up for a bit after having some computer issues.
I am back for my third month. My name is Dee and I'm 58. I moved back home with my parents not long before my Dad got sick and passed. Since then, we've helped each other. A little more than a year ago I realized that I can't help her as much as I would like if I am not at my best. I also figured out that I wasn't happy with me. I lost about 12 pounds then but put half of that back on after an injury. This health journey started in December when I was nursing an injury.
To keep a long story short, I was down 3% of my weight from December when I started UAC in February and was still nursing that injury. I'm now down 8.7% of my weight, stronger, more flexible, sleep better, and the injury is just an occasional twinge.
This weekend, I was able to garden for a few hours with no problems and took a 3 mile walk the same day without a twinge. Thank you all!
By the numbers, I don't have as much weight to lose as others which is why I listed the percentages. The success since joining the group has encouraged me to think I could get back to my college weight. We'll see. Also, since joining, my Mom has been tagging along without tracking calories and is down as well.
I'm not setting hard number goals for strength or weight though I weigh less than I have in more than 20 years. I'm just looking for continued improvement. I really like how I feel!5
