Managed to squeeze in a workout this afternoon, then found myself nibbling on a bowl of tortilla chips my husband had sitting out on the counter. Ugh! Mindless eating is my nemesis.
Pretty sure I'm still within my calorie budget, but just barely.3 -
✅ exercised 35 bike, 10 arms and 7,300 steps
❌ over by 200 calories
✅ tracked everything that I ate and drank
... and on day two, using pass day number two. I already know I’ll be going over tomorrow. Kids will be up super early, family staying over, between early morning activities and cooking there will be no time to get my workouts in. My plan is to log everything, enjoy everything and everyone, and to show restraint when I can. Happy Easter weekend5 -

Yes x2 aka a pass day
But I like to think of days where I exercised (60 min walk and 30 min bodyweight exercises) plus tracked and was 95 cal over as yes x2 rather than a pass. Yes, it counts as a pass for the UAC, as it should, but in my long-term journey it's still a positive step6 -
Yes, yes, and yes3

@MadisonMolly2017 - thanks for the vacation tips - I found two of her episodes dealing with vacations - #337 and #390. Haven't had a chance to listen yet - but stoked to hear them!
Exercise - yes - although not what I anticipated. I wanted to put 7 or 8 miles on my newish trail shoes before next week's half marathon - drove to a local nature preserve, only to find out that on a Saturday morning they don't open until 11 am!!!! What gives with that. So drove home, put on road shoes, and ran 4 miles. Rather bummed about that.
Tracked - yes
Under cals - yes
I even managed to avoid the temptation to eat a handful of jelly beans or Reese's while filling some Easter eggs for my grandkids tomorrow. I did, however, have some apple crisp that hubby made earlier. However, I pre-planned those calories so am all good.4 -
Yes, yes, and yes.
But like yesterday my exercise was in yardwork and moving lighter things around indoor, a kind of spring cleaning/reorganization. My energy is still well short of what it was pre-surgery, but slowly gets better every day. So I get what exercise I can, and then take a lot of rests...7 -

Squeaked through on calories today but a really nice day. Had some family over (in the garden only). I normally organise an Easter egg hunt for the kids but this year the eggs were all sold out ages ago. They didn’t seem to mind hunting for Heroes instead (maybe British - they are Cadbury’s chocolates). I didn’t eat any of the chocolates! And I didn’t eat any of the chocolate corn flake cakes that I helped my son to make. So I feel like a winner 🤣🤣.
Easter Sunday will be harder - roast lamb and roast potatoes! I am also making my usual chocolate Easter cake for an afternoon tea with my parents and sister.6 -
