Forgot to post this earlier on Thursday. 75 minutes- 3.47 miles on a cold windy day in Georgia. It’s going to be 34 Friday morning. Winter is not quite over in the South.
Kathy0 -
Forget yesterday as well! 15 min walk...too cold! So came in and did 40 min elliptical.
Today....just did 35 mins on the elliptical.
Karen0 -
Wow! Me, too! Yesterday 4.41 miles in 80 mins.
Nothing today...total rest day!! Might workout w/trainer tomorrow...don't know yet.
Chris0 -
I'm getting a lot of house projects done since retiring and have a garage full of Amazon boxes as a result. I broke down about a third of them today. It was a good physical workout and felt SO productive too.
paula2 -
Switched it up to Recumbent 30 minutes - 6.72 miles.
Kathy1 -
5.56 miles in 99 mins this morning.
The weather here is crazy! Yesterday and the day before were in the 80's. Today was down in the 60's. Man! I just don't know how to dress these days...
Chris0 -
Chris just so long as you dress before going outside to check the weather!
Walked the dogs the last two days. Then went visiting friends while cruising in the mustang. It was lots of fun. I also planted a large hanging basket with starts I cut last fall.
Kathy my lace leaf peony is up. And I still have snow.
Chris I will be doing these workouts tomorrow.
Paula looks like I need to retire also. So glad you are enjoying yours.
Thanks,
Shelley0 -
As it was 35 in Georgia this morning I started the day with a 12 minute upper body workout followed by a 10 minute standing abs workout. Also started doing planks again. Started at 30 seconds. By 10:00 it had warmed up enough for a 45 minute walk - 2.53 miles.
The afternoon was housework and let me tell you it was definitely another workout. Taking of Sunday as my mom and I are having my sister and brother-in-law over for dinner and making all of their favorites that they’ve requested. There will only be 7 of us so we will be safe.

Just did a 65 minute Easter morning walk...so nice out!

Took the day off to cook, eat and enjoy family.

Great photos, Karen! Nice family!
Shelley...I have a note by the front door...BE SURE YOU ARE BUTTONED AND ZIPPED BEFORE OPENING THIS DOOR!!!
Kathy, I did the 'eat and enjoy' part done today...no cooking...just cutting (salad) and played with the kids!!
I did go out and get 5.17 miles done in 93 mins this morning. Nice day!!
Pat and I colored five eggs for R-O-N-A-N and hid them in the backyard. Also got him a Pokemon...Popplio...he's a little seal, and little seal is the Irish/Gaelic definition of Ronan!! We had fun with them today.

Chris - Sounds like a great day! You are the Queen of steps!
We had a nice day overall. I had a few too many jelly beans;)
Really would like to see some good progression for myself in April, instead of the up and down of the same few pounds....so here I go!

Kathy you are inspiring me to do more. Keep lifting and moving. So glad you were able to have this time with your sister and family.
Karen what beautiful scenery. Good luck with those pounds. Love those smiles.
Chris so glad you have that sign on the door. I also just enjoyed yesterday.
Up to 20 push ups in the mornings and evenings now. Just going to keep at then.
Shelley0 -

Did a lats 30 min walk before dinner...
Karen0 -
Didn't get in much today. Just my 20 wake-up pushups.
Shell0 -
20 push-ups is crazy good, Shelley!
Don't know if I'll be walking today. I do have a training session at noon, but then the Eye Doc and then a blood draw. I have no idea how long that will take.
Back later.

Muahahah, I still like doing pushups. And I love making you all laugh. Yes I did my 20 again this morning. As soon as they get easier I am going to try for 25.
Wish me luck.
Chris good luck with your appointments.

Wednesday became a rest day. Took my fully vaccinated mom to get her hair done. First time in over a year and first time to my salon. My stylist set aside time for the two of us w/o any other clients in the shop. My mom loved it and felt very safe. After we left we stopped at the mall and I let her shop in Macy’s for a short time...fully masked and socially distanced. She was very happy to finally get out if the house and do something for herself. A couple of pictures.

Kathy your mom is beautiful. And yes, I mean that in every way. So glad you were able to get out and enjoy being women again. Pampered and spoiled. Rocky actually stopped a lady from finishing his hair cut on Monday. It was horrible. He had to go to another gal to get it evened up. It is WAY short.
I just love being vaccinated. One of my coworkers who refused the vaccination is out with Covid now. Can't feel to sorry for him since he refused. He is going to be fine. So happy for you two. Did your sister go with you two?
Shelley0 -
Wow Kathy,
Your mom is truly beautiful. Such a wonderful outing. This time feels so full of wonder and amazing. My heart is hopeful and my brain is quietly carefully hoping "Wow, is this really happening?"
paula1 -
Paula it is like being kids again almost. All the new excitement. I actually am loving it. Absence makes the heart grow fonder thing and all.

Thank you Shelley. No my sister is not feeling well. It happens every time she comes home. It takes her at least 2 weeks to recover from the long journey.
