Today I'm having relentless "nerve" type pain in my foot, right around my 4th metatarsal (toe). I've experienced this pain once or twice over the last 4-6 months, but today it's quite severe. I had to take my shoes off and walk around in my socks at the chiropractor's office where I give massages, because the pain was too much with my shoes on. When I googled it, there is a thing called Morton's Neuroma where the nerve between the 3rd and 4th toe becomes enlarged and inflamed. Ugh!!!! I'm less than 30 days away from my 60th birthday and I feel like I'm FALLING APART!!6 -
@Katiecan2021 - we all have those weeks. You got this. 🙌🏻❤️

Having house guests for the first time in 16 months this weekend and take out tomorrow night for dinner. Took the day off from work tomorrow to do several errands and clean house since I’m the type that only cleans when people are coming over and well... the pandemic 😅. So yah. Anyhoo, the main point is the first thing on my to do list after school drop off is getting a 5 mile run in to offset the excess calories from the Indian food we’ll be ordering and set a good tone for the day. Wish me luck!
Pass days remaining: 2
Edit: To be fair to us - we’ve been spot cleaning here And there as things get rough so it’s not that bad, more clutter than anything... but there’s no cleaning quite like “cr*p relatives are coming from out of town” cleaning.7 -

Hi everyone. I missed the first week. Camping with my family. Took a break from tracking but actually still managed to lose a pound. I’ll take it! Back on the wagon now.

Exercise? Yes. Active recovery day at the gym. Took my jump rope test, did ok. More exciting though is that I got my first toes to bar today! Yay! I've been eating back my exercise calories this week, which is something I try not to do. But I'm not feeling too bad about it. I'm close enough to my goal weight (3.8 pounds to go!) that I feel like I need to start cutting myself some slack or I won't go the distance.
I've been 50 pounds heavier than I am right now, but it's the same 10-15 pounds that I've done battle with for the last 10 years. Just have to figure out how to get rid of this last few pounds and then--even harder!--maintain without feeling like I'm being deprived of the things I enjoy.4 -

@RangerRickL Love the pics today! Your granddaughter is so lucky to have such active grandparents!3 -
Still no exercise, but slowly feeling better. See the Dr tomorrow, a clean bill of health may motivate me to start exercising.
I did stay on the eating track and log, so not a bad day all in all..
Great pictures Rick, thanks!6 -
@Winner_in_Life Snakes are dormant until the temperatures hit the high 80's and 90's. We are now in that period. Yesterday, I saw a snake under my car. First one in 2021. Arizona has the distinction of having many venomous creatures.
My primary home is located 1,800 miles from Phoenix in the mid-section of the USA. We will soon leave here to return to our home/farm near Chicago in the state of Illinois.2 -
@donna25trinity Thank you for the compliment. That cowboy hat covers an every more balding head!!1

@SummerSkier I'll try to remember to take a photo of Coco's ear.
None of those horses are Coco. I love the more lush desert landscape that lies about 20 miles north of Phoenix. We were riding out of stable with access to Tonto National Wilderness and great views of both cactus in bloom and the mountains in the background.2 -
@Katiecan2021 I am inspired by the uplifting trajectory of your post! You started out in dismay and ended positive and with a clear commitment for tomorrow.
One day at a time!!
Best wishes, Rick1
