    Wow Kathy,
Your mom is truly beautiful. Such a wonderful outing. This time feels so full of wonder and amazing. My heart is hopeful and my brain is quietly carefully hoping "Wow, is this really happening?"

Thanks Paula and I’m so lucky to still have her. You’re so right it’s like a whole new word. I just hope more and more get vaccinated. I’m worried that some states numbers are rising. But I’m going to continue to be hopeful.

Kathy, your mom is beautiful and she's also lucky to have you!!

I'm excited, too! Just texted our hair dresser...haven't been to her since January 2020...guess how long my curly ponytail is... :D We'll see what her status is. She has elementary school kids. We'll see. I'm going grocery shopping w/Sara Sunday if Pete goes hiking. :o It'll be the first time inside a store in over a year. Who would have guessed??

4.47 miles in 80 mins this afternoon. HOWEVER...dun...dun...dun...way too much pb and grahams. :#

sounds like everyone is having so much fun getting out again.

Kathy I am also worried about the lessening of restrictions possible being to early. But at least most of the sensible people are getting vaccinated. They have opened it up here to anyone 16 and over. Time will tell.

    I did weights last night.

A morning walk with my BFF. The first in awhile for her because of Rheumatoid Arthritis. I went at her pace to help her get back into the groove. We walked 55 minutes but only 2.45 miles. Which was great for her...very proud. So after, I came back home and got on my recumbent bike for 30 minutes. 💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾 Rain in forecast for weekend. Ron and I are going to gang out. Taking exercise clothes with me in case I get a chance to walk at the beautiful park near his home.

Oh and a 45 sec plank.

    Great weekend ladies!

Kathy that is so thoughtful of you. I actually like walking at a sedate pace. I just enjoy getting out. Have a great weekend. You get rain and we had several inches of snow. Which has mostly melted already.

So I decided to do a little PopSugar tonight. Here is what I am doing this evening.

Shelley, I love PopSugar!! I'll put some up next month.

Got 60 min workout w/my trainer done. Don't think I'm going to walk today.

Pat may be able to walk this weekend. If so, it will be a 20 min mile instead of 17 or 18. I'll be okay with that if he gets to go with me.

Chris I have only done hers a couple of times. I like her energy. I wish I could put music to it though. I am just not good with that. Looking forward to your choices next month.

One of the internet companies got back with us. Looks like they are not able to give us good service. So that does not leave us with more than two choices. The one we have and one other.

Good luck on the internet companies, Shelley.

Got 4.77 miles done in 90 mins this afternoon...after I went grocery shopping with Sara!!! First time inside a store in over a year! Wow! Fun! Of course, it was all because I was with Sara. bwahahahaah!

Chris that is great you and Sara went shopping. I enjoy shopping myself. Tonight we went and picked up Rockys meds. Then walked around a bit. Only other thing we bought were some red carnations to add to my yellow ones. So pretty.

Got in a walk with Rocky and the two young dogs. Then 40 minutes on my treadmill. A friend of mine has one that is crazy. Does incline and decline! Really kewl.

They're starting to have music again in open air venues here. I went down to the local watering hole today (it's like a pub). Saw many masked friends for the first time in ages. Drank too much coffee. Now need to do break down boxes.

So special to be out again.

The movie houses are open here. I want to go. I don't even know what is playing. Just want to go. My mom is coming again next Tuesday. Looking forward to her visit.

Paula I am so glad you have found caffeine. Such a wonderful recreational inducer. And the side effects are minimal. I hope you took advantage of it and danced the hours away. Museums

Got a walk in at the park near Ron’s house. 80 minutes 4.1 miles. It’s so beautiful you will walk forever!

Karen nice reminder. I pray that there are more kind people out there.

Shelley - I really want to go to the movies but we watched Netflix most of the weekend. Maybe next time.

Paula I can’t wait to get to a concert again. Hopefully soon. Nothing like live music!

Chris my mom was so happy when I took her to the hairdresser and Macy’s. The things we use to take for granted...never again.

Karen that photo is so cute. I hope it finds its way back home.

Kathy I ended up doing the same. There was just no time to go. We went to Menards and looked for new cushions for our new chairs. Found some that fit really nice. Picked up some seed starter trays and seed soil for Rockys pansy seeds. Silly man should have done it weeks ago. I also picked up a new pump to move the water from our mixing station into the aquariums. Our old one was way to slow! Spent several hours cleaning the tanks. The fish look so happy. :)

I have 2 co-workers that spend a lot of time talking just to hear themselves talk. They bad mouth everyone! And their favorite word begins with a F. I wish they would go spread their hatred for others in a cell. Muahahaha

So my husband watches FOX news way to much. I woke up this morning to him listening to more hate talk. I think that the news could do a better job of fostering love in our country. So many of them just stir the pot for more hatred. Like Karen said above, most people would rather love. I wanted to be in law enforcement since I was a child. I wanted to help others and wear a shiny badge. I have to remind myself that I don't live where people are wanting to kill me just for the uniform I wear. Or because of what some other officer did. I think if I lived in a larger city I would take off my shiny badge. I would hope I would not though. But I must admit when we had protestors here last summer it was nuts. People lined the streets with assault rifles in front of small mom and pop stores to defend them if need be. We had snipers on roof tops. The marchers were mostly peaceful. Only a handful were really trouble makers. Acting like they had the right to walk down the center of the street and hit other folks personal vehicles and property. And that was here. In my little city of Casper Wyoming.

I think I would have rather have heard about a dog saved from a house fire. Or pulled from the river. Or a baby being born on the way to the hospital and about how strangers stepped in and helped.

It snowed this morning. It should all be gone by this afternoon as it warms up.

Stay alert everyone. Enjoy your walks but keep your head on a swivel. I am grateful for so much in my life. For living in a time of such great medical care. Of instant heat and water. For the food that I eat. For my friends and family. And the internet that allows me to connect with all of you.

Sorry for the mini book. Had to spit it out.

Shelley, you are so right and be very proud of yourself for what you do. I think it takes a special person to be in law enforcement. You are the very best, my friend!!

60 min workout w/my trainer. No walking today. We're talking about a 4:00 a.m. get up and walk at 5:00 a.m. ...home by 6:00 for showers, etc. ...maybe...

Kathy and Karen glad to see you are getting in some walking. Good for the soul.

My mom had a scooter shipped to my house. I took it for a test ride. Thing goes faster than I would have guessed. It will be perfect for when we go to the park. I hope she does not mind walking while I ride. That thing is fun. :D

Kathy do you use your cell phone for entering on here? I like when you put the emojis. The suns and muscular arm ones.

84 degrees today in Atlanta so I walked early 65 minutes - 3.18 miles.

Also a 50 sec plank along with a 20 minute upper body dumbbell workout with Juice and Toya. I’m having a problem posting the YouTube workouts. I’m sure it’s me. 😊

Shelley I use my cell the majority of the time and sometimes my IPad.

@KAR1959 I might have to use Rocky's more then. I just love those arms. I am thinking of planting a cherry tree this year. Nice plank by the way! B)
