A Pass Day is not a Day Pass, but this was the best graphic that I could imagine.
A Pass Day does not need to be a Cheat Day. A Cheat Day undermines many days of following the 3 cardinal rules of the UAC.
A Pass Day is any day in which we cannot answer "yes' to the 3 foundational thoughtful behaviors:
Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes?
Did I stay within my calorie budget for the day?
Did I keep track of everything I ate and drank?
The purpose of the UAC is to provide accountability as we build/maintain the healthy habits. There is a need for Pass Days in that there are thousands of reasons why we may need some margin.
If you end the month with 3 or less Pass Days, then you qualify for the Winner's Circle.
No easy accomplishment!

*Yes 40 min weight session.
* Tracked to a tee.
* Yes under by 30.
Hve really been enjoying my food this week. Trying to eat fun foods through the week instead of just saving it for the weekend. I also only hve 132 calories left to make up out of 355 calories. If i pull this off by the end of the week it means i dnt use my pass day!
Watched a you tube vid of Heather from half size me and she was walking in the rain! Thats such commitment to working out! Night guys Xox12 -

I have a commitment this month to walk 100 miles. Fortunately, my year old Poodle makes a great walking partner (and she needs the exercise). Last night it was a bit misty when we started our walk, so I grabbed my umbrella just in case. Predictably, it started to rain, so I opened the umbrella. Initially, that startled Abby. Then she clearly found it terribly exciting as she leaped up and down for the best part of the next block. So, not only did I walk in the rain, but cackled like a crazy lady because she was so funny. She finally settled down and went back to sniffing.11 -

Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes?
• 45 min: Planks Days 1-5 Intermediate + “Lift and Shred” with J. Michaels. Today I used 5kg dumbbells instead 4kg ones for the most of exercises. Wondering if I will have some sore muscles tomorrow.
• Freestyle 7.11 km in 0:54:11 (7.88 km/h)
• Fitness Age/VO2max: 34/37

Still on track! At the moment I’m just following calories for losing half a pound a week. I think I will go back to where I was before (one pound a week) but for now this is meaning that I’m actually staying on track.11 -

@RangerRick Thanks for reminding us that a Pass Day is Not need to be a Cheat Day! That’s been my downfall over the last month, especially since I didn’t make Winners Circle. And now the scale shows it! Gotta work hard to get 3 pounds back off! Gotta work harder to change my mentality. It’s NOT all or nothing!

Did I keep track of everything I ate and drank? Yes, 2,180 ml of fluid.

I've also started hearing half size me podcasts, it's helping me look at dieting differently. Like how we are fixed on a number and try our hardest to reach, which is not important as long as we are healthy and can do what we wanted to do.
As for today, c25k was okay, finished it all and completed the rest of my 10k steps after it.
Goodnight 🤗💜6 -

3 pass days remain.6 -
Taking my first pass day today. I've spent the whole day worried about my dog--arranging for follow-up blood work and office visits, making sure she stays calm and low-key, etc.--rather than tracking my calories. Also having a pretty major adrenaline crash, so no exercise.
Apparently ITP is fairly common in dogs, but that knowledge doesn't make me worry any less.8 -
Exercise - YES
- Light Yoga 6 mins
- Run 20 mins
- Walk 59 mins
Calories - YES ...BUT... I allotted some extra calories for dinner while going to a restaurant to see my mom who came into town. I wound up chatting and barely eating! I logged all that I ate but came in lower than I planned. I'm satiated, so I will be fine this one time. But it isn't ideal. I can not call this a miss but must account for today's big under on calories.

Yes x 3 today. 1/4 of the way to my goal of walking 100 miles this month!
On the fifth day of the month, no less! Kudos!
And @pamjsa, all the best to your pooch!
