Name: (if you'd like to share)
My Numbers:
SW: Starting weight before you lost anything.
CW: Current weight at the beginning of the challenge.
GW: Goal weight for the month (what you would like to weigh at the end of the monthly challenge) Try to keep it realistic and SAFE!
LTGW: Lifetime goal weight ( What you would like to weigh at the end of your weight loss journey)
Weigh-ins: What days you will weigh-in; for example, Fridays
5/7/21 = (Fill out after each weigh-in.)

Well, I’m back after a year or more hiatus from MFP. My weight has been gradually dropping, but not fast enough for one of my docs. I’m at an 8-year low and maintaining through plateaus of medical issues, so I’m pretty happy with the current pace, but you can’t please everyone, I guess. I’m here to see what my current calories are and how they respond to tweaking. This group was the most positive and focused in the MFP-sphere 🙂 so thought I’d drop back in, if that’s ok.

I weighed in today and was 326.7! Super exciting. I know the start always yields the most significant weight loss, but it's encouraging all the same!

This GI bug has really taken a lot out of me. Finally managed to stop losing weight today compared to yesterday, still trying to up my calories. Had my intake with the medical weightloss clinic this afternoon, they had some good advice and were happy with my slow and steady loss (this month is not typical!!) They gave me some updated calorie and macro parameters, and will check my A1C. I’m to send in weekly summary average screenshots from MFP and follow up in 4 weeks.

Went to the pediatrician ENT and found out my daughter needs surgery (outpatient, she will be fine).
I used the stress of my 13 month old going under anesthesia as an excuse to binge. Really disappointed in myself, but back on the wagon.

So this week wasn't a great week for me, I noticed I started slipping back into old habits and eating a lot of junk food and other bad stuff that isn't health. I still lost 1lb which is great but I don't want to go back into these bad habits of mine2 -
Finally feeling better!! Appetite is back and my step count is gradually getting there. I’m working on adjusting to the carb and sodium guidelines that the clinic set for me, but still keeping somewhat higher protein levels than what they set; it helps my satiety and prevents binges. Not terribly higher, but it’s not my priority (yet) to lower that protein unless they give me a really good reason.

So I hoped to do better but it's still the lightest I've been this year so I guess that's better than nothing. I definitely drank too many calories when my arthritis flared up this week
Onto the good news though, you've all done absolutely brilliantly! I hope you all decide to join in again next month and keep up the amazing work1 -
