May you/me embrace that even when we are really frustrated with ourselves, we are still on the journey. Take the next step forward!16 -

Well under budget for today even without the walking, so not too worried. Makes it another unscheduled pass day. Still walked the dog in the morning, so it has not been a "nothing" day.
Looking forward to the weekend. Just have to make it through tomorrow to get there.11 -

Going nuts with nuts today? No(9 days-free )
(I go nuts with nuts most times, trying to build a good habit this month. Counting the number of "nuts" free days. Did they say 21 days to form a habit?)
Pass day 3/3 (this is for accountability to myself and my records)8 -
Today was meant to be another light day to build energy for competition, except I had to work which included unloading 1.8 tonnes of fish. It wasn’t so bad and went pretty quickly thanks to a great team. That was my last work day until 7 June!!! Gotta take my leave from last year before end of June or I lose it. Although it was a bit chaotic at times, everything I needed to do was done. Afternoon was time to pack and when I opened the suitcase that I haven’t used in over 18 months I found my favourite Jiu Jitsu club T-shirt. I think it’s a good sign for competition. Did my competition week yoga session and went to class with the intention of just doing technique but it was a free class which meant no technique, just rolling and I’m saving energy so I came home early.
Reasonable food choices today and under budget.
I fly to Johannesburg tomorrow morning!!! Weigh in and referee seminar in the evening.8 -

3 x Yes.
40 minutes walk in the sunshine. Not too hot, a light breeze. Sat outside on my back balcony at lunchtime, trying to get some colour on my legs. The sun isn't quite high enough to cover more than a patch of my front terrace, but I sat with the French windows open, contemplating jobs to do out there - soon, we're going to get some more rain this weekend. Bought myself some little begonias to plant tomorrow. Cheered me up.
Calories: Yes, stayed under. My stomach is definitely back to normal, as I had no trouble with a medium spicy Goan fish curry I had made, even thought I wouldn't have minded it spicier...
Happy it's turning Summer here, means I can make loads of salads and won't feel hungry.
Logged everything, easy as I had mostly pre-planned today's menu.
@Dory_42 Good luck!
@RangerRickL Great quote! My life today was both amazing and awful, with a bit of ordinary.10 -

Pouring with rain this morning, but I got fidgety and had to go out for a short walk. The rain eased off later and I got out on the bike.
@RangerRickL A great quote, so true. Even when life is awful it helps to remember the good times.

Raining a bit this morning here too though just drizzle really. It seems that my son actually really enjoys our walks to school every day as I gave him the option of me just driving him in and he chose to walk in the rain. He’s leaving this school in July and heading off to secondary school. He will take the train with his friends- I’ll miss our walks so much!8 -

Am at a horse show for the next couplevof days. Not riding, since horse is still rehabbing. Just came down to cheer my barn mates on. Packed breakfast and lunch for the two days, so should be able to stay on track and enjoy dinner out tomorrow night.11 -

@snowshoe072 Thanks for that post. I don't usually think about my activity that way, but I know that most of my contemporaries stopped moving a long time ago and are not moving now.2

I’m getting annoyed with this plateau I seem to be stuck at. Accepting all suggestions for how to break it. I’ve been reading up on it and it seems like I’m doing everything right except the whole “reduce stress” thing. I have no idea how to even approach that as most of my stress is 💯 out of my control. I’m looking forward to the warm weather being permanent and getting the garden going. That might help the stress.
What’s worked for you fine folks who have successfully moved past plateaus?8
