We meet here to explore, share, celebrate and (sometimes) agonize over how we do (or don't) incorporate weight loss guidelines into our daily lives. "It's a lifestyle, not a diet" is easily and often said, but sometimes not so simply put into practice.
This is a thread for everyone. If you're new to GoaD, or to weight loss, your questions and comments are always welcome. If you're maintaining, or a long-term loser, your thoughts on the topic may be just what someone else needs to hear. If you're reading this, join in the discussion!
Each weekday, a new topic is offered up for discussion.

Today's Topic: What’s for breakfast?
I suspect we all have a default breakfast. To paraphrase the Capital One ad, “What’s on your plate this morning?”

My normal breakfast is homemade muesli. Before you get scared off, let me tell you what it is. It’s a contained of plain fat free Greek yogurt, a half-cup or more of sliced strawberries, one-third cup of Fiber One Original cereal, and two packets of Splenda to cut the tartness of the yogurt. It’s all mixed together in a bowl for one point. It’s enough to keep me satisfied until lunch.
And, of course, good fresh-ground coffee with two Splenda and one tablespoon of whole cream for another point.
My Sunday breakfast? It’s bacon, eggs and coffee. The bacon is three slices of Canadian bacon for one point, three eggs scrambled, and my coffee.0 -
About 25 out of 30 days a month I have a "fruit" bowl. 150gm FF Greek yogurt, 6 Splends, 1/4c Torani Sugar Free Brown Sugar and Cinnamon flavoring, 1/4 C juices from the cut strawberries or blueberries, and 1/4 C Old Fashioned oatmeal. Nuked 10 min at 60%.
Then I *kitten* a large banana, 1/4 C + sliced strawberries and 1/2 C blueberries. Nuke 3min 33 sec. Yum!, and satisfying. And, of course, the contents of my 12 C coffee maker. Black, no nuttin' else.

Oatmeal. I’m back on the cooked after a couple of months on overnight. Although the overnight was delicious, it didn’t taste so good with added protein powder. Without the extra protein it seemed like I was hungry a lot in the morning. So it’s back to cooked oatmeal, egg protein, Splenda, blueberries. Yum.0

I either eat an egg and a sausage (veg) biscuit, or I eat overnight oats.0

I vary a lot, but go in streaks. Sometimes I'm eating later in the morning and go for leftovers. Other times overnight oats. Lately eggs, scrambled with various protein, veggies, and seasonings. Usually a tiny bit of ketchup. And some fruit if it's cut up (I'm lazy in the a.m.). Occasionally 1 SP toast with it.0

Sounds like we’re eating breakfast at the same WW diner. 😉0 -
I have two that bounce back and forth: A plain French omelet, with a slice of buttered toast, or a bowl of Honey Bunches of Oats With Almonds, with a handful of Craisens and some 2% milk. I am a morning person, with a lot of activity early in the day and I need some fuel to keep me going.0
