Oh well, couldn't help it. Danced (on one leg) to a really excellent Pearl Jam cover band for almost four hours. My back and knee are killing me. Can't imagine how bad it's gonna be tomorrow. Time for ice and Advil.

Paula you go girlfriend. But I hope you have lots of ice!

My mom and I have been walking lots (her on the scooter) all weekend. Even went biking some. Got Libby in the basket for a short trip. She did great. Will post a photo in a few.

Sunday was an off day. Went to Mall of Georgia with Ron. He wanted new shirts for our trip and wanted my input. I still got in over 7,000 steps. It was nice being out. And I have to say at least 75% had on mask. I was pleasantly surprised.

@KAR1959 so good that you were able to go to a mall. Very few people here wear a mask. They all say they don't help and can't breathe with them on. Bank robbers have been wearing them forever. And they all seem to be breathing just fine. I like walking in our mall. Especially when the weather is poor outside.

Paula - I danced for hours too at my cousins wedding Saturday night. Had a blast....wore masks even though we have been vaccinated....felt so weird to be out, but fun...and loved my dress.

The answer to my floppy underarms...grow my hair long enough to cover them πŸ˜† LOL!

    Looking good, Karen!

There were no after-effects from the dancing; in fact my knee felt better yesterday. Probably means ice and Advil are good for it.

Today I put music on the stereo and did my own workout to it. Whatever felt inspired. It was fun.

I got in two workouts today 47 minute walk - 2.26 miles and 30 minutes - 6.51 miles on Recumbent bike. Getting a good doctor’s report motivates you to push yourself to do more. πŸ˜€πŸ˜€πŸ˜€πŸƒπŸΎβ€β™€οΈπŸƒπŸΎβ€β™€οΈπŸƒπŸΎβ€β™€οΈπŸ’ͺ🏾πŸ’ͺ🏾πŸ’ͺ🏾

I talked to my doctor about my concern about gaining weight with the new meds. It turns out I gained 3 pounds from the last visit 30 days ago to my visit today. She assured me that my weight loss will continue as soon as my body adjusts to the meds. She also reduced my dosage of another medicine as my A1C decreased significantly.

Next visit in three month. I’m going to concentrate on the positive.

Or maybe it was the dancing. You and Karen both must feel great then. <3

I have been doing lots of bike riding and gardening. Even some body weight workouts. Not near as intense as 5 years ago though. So maybe that is why my hair is getting longer, for hiding the arm waves. B)

I think I forgot to post this yesterday. πŸ€¦πŸ½β€β™€οΈ Good workouts - 47 minute walk - 2.44 miles and 44 minutes on Recumbent Bike - 10 miles. Also an hour in the yard watering and weeding. I think that counts as well. πŸ˜€πŸ˜€πŸ˜€πŸƒπŸΎβ€β™€οΈπŸƒπŸΎβ€β™€οΈπŸƒπŸΎβ€β™€οΈπŸ’ͺ🏾πŸ’ͺ🏾πŸ’ͺ🏾

Taking off today. Going to get hair done and taking mom with me.

Kathy yard work counts! You are not snacking and you are busy and getting some vitamin D. I did some last night also. Your mom will have a great time. I wish I was brave enough to cut all my locks off.

Went walking last night with the hubby and pups.

4.78 miles in 105 mins. We were in sand and more sand!! Went up this one private road (sand) by a vineyard that went up an incline then straight into a fence that we could not get thru. We turned around and went back down. It was very interesting. It was a good walk.

    Great walking girls!

Chris I love vineyards. My grapes are growing good. And my new cherry tree has 3 cherries!

    Chris,

You and your DH remind me of English ramblers (the hikers, not roses). "Rambling" is so popular in the UK that there are actually liens on properties to ensure that paths aren't hindered. Sounds like you're even more adventurous than that though, traipsing off the beaten path and looking for adventure. :p

When I'm with Patrick, I'm not afraid to go "rambling"...when I walk by myself, I have to go certain ways...I cannot ramble by myself because of DIRECTION DYSFUNCTION!!!!!!! I will get lost. They would have to come after me. I swear, we will be the other side of a path we've been on a number of times, but I'll have no idea where we are. Pat will say, "On the other side of this empty lot is the rocky road." I'll just nod my head and say, "Okay." It's bad. :D

I did 5.60 miles in 97 mins by myself this morning.

Kathy you are so good to carry on without your friend. I would have probably said "might as well go home now". But you carried on. Fantastic!

Paula that is really interesting. I would not have guessed that. We had a Bridal trail that was rerouted since it went on private property. The owner had pleaded with the public for years to not leave their trash on his property or to treat his back yard like a latrine. He finally closed it off after many years. It was sad.

Chris I thought I was the only "lost sheep" in this group. I swear if I don't tie a string on my hand I would get lost in my own home. I am so bad. Imagine us traveling together. No don't, no telling what state we would be in. Muahaha I am much better on my bike. And the mountain helps. I see it and I know which direction my house is and head that way. I once was going to visit a boyfriend and ended up on the wrong highway. Saw a sign that said "Welcome to Idaho" yep, had to turn around.

Karen it was certainly a wonderful day for walking. I also went on a walk with the dogs and Rocky.

Did 45 minutes on my bike today.
