June 15:
I will start with the good news - NSVs:
1) I feel better.
2) I feel better about myself.
3) Though I am still wearing the same size, my clothes hang/fit/look better.
4) My husband said yesterday that I looked slimmer.
Today pushes me over my 3 pass days, but that is OK. I am here regardless of my outcome; this group is very supportive and helps keep me accountable!
Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? Yes, 30 minutes on a stair stepper.
Did I stay within my calorie budget for the day? I do not think so. I had no work to do today for the first time in several months (I am still working virtually from home), and a friend asked me out to lunch. (Only my second time out to eat since COVID started.) She picked a "small plates" restaurant, and I honestly lost track of everything I ate. (Those small plates add up quickly!) But, I did not have dessert! I didn't even want it! So, that's a win!
Did I keep track of everything I ate and drank? Nope, see above. I completely lost track.
Pass days used: 4/3, including today.9 -

Yes x3 today, 5.5km.
My non-scale victory has been creating my running habit, where 1.5 years later I feel like something in my day is missing if I don't run. Exercise isn't an event anymore, it's just part of my daily routine the same as drinking coffee, and I love it.
My mini non-scale victory is being 2 weeks into this month and feeling like I'm right back in the groove that I was in a year ago, where I'm feeling like it's easy and routine to track my daily cals and tell myself no. Very pleased with that, because the first week was HARD and I saw just how often I wander in to my kitchen and graze.9 -

Did I keep track of everything I ate and drank? yes

Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? yes- Treadmill (Speed Interval): 30 min / 1.46 mi
- Treadmill (walk): 12 min / .73 mi
- Pool
Today was a rest day and I finally remembered to do the speed interval. Again because of the warm up/cool down I had to do a separate short walk to trigger at least 30 minutes on the Apple watch exercise ring.
NSV:
I've closed the three Apple rings every day this month so far
I've been consistent with my exercise and not missed a workout in total (had to rearrange a day once). This is a big deal for me as I'm a procrastinator and a little bit lazy to boot.

Morning training session and then a shopping and admin day with theology course in the evening. I closed my rings and got 10000 steps but didn’t log as I indulged in treats for lunch. My weakness at the moment is shopping. I’m better on days when I don’t buy anything as there are no treats kept in the house. Well, identifying a challenge is the first step to overcoming it.
My NSV is Jiu Jitsu specific but it makes me happy to realise that my strength is improving in my rolls. Two different guys commented on it the other night. Coach always says that in regard to getting good at Jiu Jitsu there is no secret, all it takes is mat time. In other words, to get good, you just need to be on the mat training as often as possible. I’m one of the most frequent on the mats and it pays off.8 -

Well, second day of “fake maintenance because I need a break” and I dropped a full pound so… perhaps this was the best choice for my body right now after all.
Nsv: My coach told me I was doing great push-ups they other day. I have chronic costochondritis and push ups are always a challenge but it seems I e gotten strong enough where I can do them and do them well. Hooray! Also I ordered a shirt in a L and it’s like a sack on me. Guess I need to start considering I might need mediums. Which is… weird and feel like it’s wrong?8 -

Hearing about this "75 Hard Mental Toughness Challenge" and your progress has been inspiring. More so now as I didn't realize the 70s in your username was for your age range...I assumed it was the decade in which you were born!

"The only difference between failure and success is your willingness to make mistakes, get back up, and keep moving forward." ~Unknown."
A very sad day. My sister's hubby passed away in the nursing home (in his sleep, thankfully) and I sat and ate more than a half a box of chocolate ice cream with her. Idk if that was a pint or a quart, but it was waaaaayyyy too much. 😥
My NSV is that I will NOT let this diary failure define me. It is what it is and I'll do my best to get right back in the game!10 -

My NSV is I feel better. I can wear heels all day at work!!! My skin looks clearer and my clothes fit better. Now if I have to choose some thing else to wear it’s because I don’t like it, not because it doesn’t fit. I appreciate the accountability. It makes me think about what I eat.7
