Saw the HOAs Summer picnics fireworks from our driveway last Night. Nice ones too!
I should remember I can church back home via faebook live video. They are still offering such. Or check out where the locals church around here? Meanwhile I'll say my prayers...
The lake property/housing market is way up too! This average 3bd lake home, 75ft of water front, across street, built in the 70's, sold for $345,000. They tore it down last week, to build new. A lot of that going on on this lake. Where do these folks get that kind of money? Wow. My mortgage broker tells me, inherited old family money.hmmmm not in my family lol.
I had a realtor do a market analysis here for us last week. She claims we could double our money. In just the 10 months we've owned this lot.
Great your friends are visiting Steph!! Enjoy the company! I think we'd or I'd be happy to have more people around to talk to, once in awhile. He be fine, but I like to socialize.
Temps to be a bit cooler today, and welcome upper 70s. Its been too hot.
We go back home tomorrow, its been a great 5 nite stint!

Hoping for some pool time today and relaxing. Took off tomorrow and Tuesday to chill out.

Steph, thank you. Actually she has been DIL for a bit over a year now, this was just the post pandemic ceremony because the real wedding in secret in their back yard last August.0 -

Even a post-pandemic (or pandemic pause?) ceremony is pretty special, Lee. Great photo.
Getting very fall-like out here. It's 48 in Tumwater, this morning. The garden is slowing down, too. We have eaten our way through (or froze) all the zucchini and eggplant, and there are just a few cucumbers on the vine. Still getting lots of Asian long beans. We have a bumper crop of tomatoes that refuse to ripen. Maybe by the end of September. I think our yard is ill-suited to tomato production.

Morning BBB
Spent all day lounging in or around the pool chatting with our visiting friends. They are WFH thus week but are staying on central time so will be done around 3. They are here for 2 weeks. It's nice to have some company.
Off to walk Chesstur then a hike in the desert.0 -
