Morning~
LATE night (early....ugh....morning)! Can't seem to sleep beyond 6:30'ish.
Friends over for wine and firepit. WOWZA. way too much food; wine; and friends. Started with one couple morphed into 6. Football on in background. I think we cut it off at 1a. Yikes.
Tonight is nascar at other friends home. Tomorrow is Nationals game (day game).
Hope all are enjoying labor weekend.

Still working on getting water damaged junk out of basement. DW says we needed to get rid of most of stuff damaged anyway. Just hired a dumpster service.
30's? Maybe early 20's for me...I started early to bed and early rising mid twenties. Maybe enlisting in Army National Guard had something to do with it. That and having a dog (Jessie Dawg-a red setter).

We had Cecilia's belated birthday party with the neighbors yesterday. *pushes weeklies to center of the table in an "all in" manner*

I'm sorry your going through the wet basement thing, Lee. I know that's how I got rid of everything down there, cabinets and all. Was liberating. Then fixed it, sortof, and sold. Here, we have to dump water in sump pump to make sure it works. Never runs. DRY Basement.
Were off to pick up the brides wedding band for ds2, its closer to our area than his. Maybe Tom will get some ideas to buy something.. I got an Oct bday coming lol. Then to help them with gathering everything to decorate Thurs etc. The guys are finishing installing the last of his Google light switches, Got new smart thermostat too. I hear my home is soon going to be same. Guess its time to upgrade my S9 as well...

Good morning BBB Friends.
- Ran the TV cameras at church this morning. We got the internet issues fixed this week and everything worked well. No SS with the holiday weekend.
- I volunteered to help a new neighbor assemble some furniture this afternoon. He claims he knows what to do, just needs a 2nd set of hands. We'll see. Gentleman is from Argentina, via NY. In the local vernacular we say, "He ain't from around here." Could be an interesting afternoon.
- GA Bulldog fans are happy this morning after beating the Clemson Tigers last night. Tough defensive battle. The only touchdown was a pick 6.

Morning bbb
We chilled at the pool all day yesterday. Put up the umbrella for some shade. Probably a drink or two too many as doggy gets up at 6. Heading to brunch soon. Not much on the menu that is vegan so might just have a fancy coffee and eat at home later. Or might really go all out and have the garlic fries.

Skipped church today, was to have service with lunch catered by Varsity[ hot dogs, fries, onion rings. With COVID numbers and several of staff sick it was postponed till later. Service today was music only from praise team.
I picked beans, tomato, and okra then poisoned beans and tomatoes

DMIL is washing again today; gets busy and has a habit of not making it to bathroom in time, purchased some pads, does not understand they are just for little drips. She needs Depends or full diapers but then they have to be changed more than once a day.0 -
Oh the little joys that you share about DMIL, Sam. Good to know stuff for when I become DMIL. Sometimes I feel like I'm almost there. ((chuckle))0
