Chris I was looking out for you, wiping mouth. So sorry. Enjoy your walk.

Got derailed by others yesterday. Not much more than a few pushups. :'(

Good thing, Shelley!! The 20 pounds I gained during this pandemic couldn't take on any more cookies...Thank you...I think. <3

Got 4.83 miles done in 95 mins this morning then spent 3-4 hours over at Sara's. She was really stressed yesterday. I think we helped today.

Chris it was beautiful here also. Went to the park for a short walk with my mom this morning. Then Walmart. Bike ride with Libby and cleaned aquariums. It was a good day.

    Highest weight: 317 (2013)
    Ultimate goal weight: 135
    September 30th goal weight : 145

    08/31 - 148.6
    09/01 - 148.6
    09/06 - 149.0
    09/13 -149.0
    09/20 -
    09/30 -

This chart (above) make it look like my weight is hovering between 148-149 because that's what it's been on weigh-in days. But actually it's been creeping down this month. Here's the trend:
    jyzwh8by49p6.png

My extremities had bad, bad cramps yesterday that lasted from afternoon through the evening. Probably resulted from pushing too hard. Started out dealing with a power outage in the morning. Then went to a festival in San Francisco. It was huge, closing several blocks with probably 10,000+ folks (proof of vax and masks required). With all the dancing, amazing music, wonderful distractions and beautiful day; I was soon exhausted, dehydrated and exposed to too much sun.

Blessings on the barkeep who suggested an OJ/cranberry mocktail when I asked for something non-alcoholic. My body wasn't used to a supercharged hit of sugar like that; but that and a dark indoor lounge were just what was needed to reboot basic mental and physical functions.

Even after eating, my body was still too worn out. (I am so out of shape!) So I had to leave early. But it was a glorious experience and a shot of joy - such a refreshing change.

I hope everyone and your families are doing well. Prayers and blessings.

Paula that sounded like so much fun. However did they keep track of vaccines and masks with that many folks though?

I managed to get another flat.

    Hey Shelley,

The event was a gated off with security guards and processing stations (checking Vax/ID, Tickets & Bags) at each of the four entrances. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/How_Weird_Street_Faire

Some people took masks off inside; but a lot kept them on and even incorporated them into their costumes. It was good for the soul. Something we all need right now.

Your bike rides sound really fun. It would be so much fun to ride bikes with you <3<3<3. But you really need to buy stock in bike tire and patch kit companies. o:)

Paula you are so right. I did put liners in that should help me not get flats. You would love one. I have to take off but will check that site in a bit. Sounds great.

I worked out the last 2 days with my mom doing chair yoga. And last night with my granddaughter lifting weights. We are both improving.

Karen, my eating was awful this week, too. I had to toss out my peanut butter! It was causing a lot of trouble! Wish I could toss our husband's graham crackers. He wasn't getting them for a while and I was behaving myself then all of a sudden he puts three boxes on the shopping list and up, up, up Christine's numbers go!!!

Shelley, sounds like you had a great time with your mom and granddaughter.

We get Ronan and Bean this evening while the kids have a date night.

5.49 miles in 102 mins this morning. Pretty nice day!! It's supposed to get hot next week. We'll see.

I granted myself a splurge day Thursday. Eating good food, but allowing my body to have what it wanted (expecting to pay the price later). So it was a pleasant shock when the scale didn't skyrocket. It might even be normal by Monday.

Power out all day for third time in three weeks. PGE lines have sparked wildfires that cause death and destruction. To prevent that, they now turn off power at the slightest instigation. Prevention is excellent; and any inconvenience is preferable to the devastation. But they need more crews to deal with it efficiently.

Is thriving too much to wish for? Hope everyone is coping. :flowerforyou:

Paula, I did that all last week...I paid the price...it was expensive!!! Sorry about your power outs I hope it gets better.

Pat and I are doing good. Sara is having a rough time with her 6th graders acting out and their parents making excuses for them. Being an elementary school principal is tough work!!

Ronan is doing great in his virtual kinder class.

5.47 miles done in 101 mins this morning. Beautiful out there!

Good morning ladies. Sorry It’s been awhile. Still lots going on with both parents. My mom finished her three radiation treatments and not sure what’s next. She has an appointment next week with one of her oncologist. My dad has a zoom call this Thursday to determine his next treatment. Just trying to hang in and be supportive to both.

My mom is having a difficult time because she still can’t remember certain things like what day of the week it is today. But I told her when you don’t work you don’t have a frame of reference all the time and tried to make a joke out of it. Still it bothers her.

Chris thanks for the invitation to the work week hustle. It will give me something else to focus on this week. But there’s going to be a lot of rain in Georgia this week. I’ll do my best.

I made a pot of beef vegetable soup on Saturday. We all loved it. Trying cook cook healthier die all of us. We all love soup and I can add extra veggies. We all need them.

Have a great week my friends! ❤️
