Sassy had her first puppy class. She was very intimidated by the other dogs - but that's why we go to the class. She'll get much more comfortable. She loves every person she meets, though. She doesn't seem at all concerned about new sounds, just curious. We have a chance of thunderstorms this weekend. We'll see how she does with that. They gave her a green scarf that says "I'm here to socialize." I wanted to get a pic of her wearing it, but she was too squirmy to tie it on.

Getting very fall-like, out here. Leaves are turning. There is a forecast of snow in the mountains, this weekend. We should, finally, get a real, soaking rain, too. That will let them get control of the fires, too. There are still more than 6,000 firefighters on fire lines in Oregon and Washington.

Our car was broken in to at the trailhead yesterday. Both drivers side windows broken and most everything from the console taken including cash and gift cards. Probably $400 worth of stuff. Our deductible is $1000 so will be paying out of pocket for the windows. I called all around and a mobile service will do them for $460 today. Dealership wanted $1399 and could do for 10 days.

It’s an inconvenience but thankfully it wasn’t worse and we can afford it. Mostly just mad at myself for leaving it at in one little bag so it was so easy.
