Busy day ahead, but took 20 min walk this morning.

I've had a really rough few weeks with Belle/work so haven't been on here as much. But following along as much as I can and sending you all love!

Accused of causing wildfires that destroy homes and kill people, PGE is looking for prevention. A new safety system shuts down power in rural areas the instant anything touches the lines. Then they inspect miles and miles of lines before turning it back on. The result is power going off every few days and staying off a day or two for inspections.

Preventing fires is great. But doing so by essentially suspending service isn't a good business plan. There must be alternatives. I wish PGE management weren't known for its poor judgement.

When power is out here, so is internet. And I can't get MFP on my cell, so, oh well. But I'm getting really good at hooking up the generator and running electrical cords, hah. :p

Worrying leads to thinking about the world. And from that perspective, my troubles are so minimal. I think about you all and hope you are doing well. :flowerforyou:

    counting my blessings,

Paula I just read this. All these fires are horrible. I am so glad you have a generator. They are a life saver. People are fast at pointing fingers. I say find solutions instead of pointing all the time.
