1 mile walk, 3 mile run.
Kicks mileage: 10
On the goal of increasing my freggies - I prepped 2lbs of butternut squash, 4 carrots, 3 zucchini, 2 jalapeños, and 1 red onion to get dumped in the crockpot tomorrow along with crushed tomatoes, black beans, and a meat alternative for a super awesome veggie chili for dinner for the week. I plan on pairing it with brown rice. I’m not sure how many servings of veggies I should count that as? 🤔 (I plan on breaking it into 6 servings.). I’m hoping my chili can count as 2-3 servings to help me hit my daily goal.7 -
Exercise: lots of walking on the farm. 37 minutes is tracked. Lots more movement was bonus and not tracked
Calories: definitely tracked and under my limit6 -

✅✅✅ Exercise today was a 10 mile #icecreamwalk after giving massages at the chiropractor's office today. I did it today because they're calling for rain all day tomorrow here - thunderstorms even. It was sunshine when I left home at 2:15pm.... and was shooting for 15 miles today - but had to call hubby to come get me when the rain moved in. At least I got in 10 miles. Lol. Tomorrow I'll have to use the treadmill!

Exercised?: No
Calories?: No
Tracked?: No
Travel day - started out tracking but got side-tracked.5 -
Within calories - yes
Tracked everything - yes
20 min exercise - yes
Knowing I had to log on to this group tonight forced me to do the exercise time today. After my excursion to the huge corn maze yesterday, my body was so sore. So I pushed myself to do a 20-minute Leslie Sansone Walk at Home video on YouTube.5 -

Exercise - Yes - 78 minutes on my bike this morning. I didn't even leave the house until almost 8 this morning because the weather is *finally* cooling off! I like not having to get up before the sun to be able to enjoy a ride or run.
Tracking - Yes.
Calories - Yes - I had to go into my exercise calories but I did it. A little high on the carbs and too low on the protein, but .... I'm a work in progress.
A 3-yes day! Tomorrow will likely be a pass as I'll be at Chase Field through lunch watching the Diamondbacks take on the Rockies... and watching my teacher daughter being honored with other teachers.
Pass days? 1/3 We'll see how I do.6 -
Did I exercise today? Yes, golfed 18 holes and walked the course, plus took my dog for a very short walk and did yoga for 17 minutes.
Did I track everything? Yes
Did I stay within calories? Yes
Pass days used - 1/3 (Oct 1)6 -
Did I keep track of everything I ate and drank? yes
Did I stay within my calorie budget for the day? yes
Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? yes- Stretching: 20 mins
Since my knees were still bothering me this morning a bit (though better than they were earlier in the week) I decided to skip the treadmill again and do some stretches. I'm not a huge stretch person but my partner has a series of daily PT stretches that he does for hip/lower back pain and I've seen him do it enough that I was able to do a similar routine. It's not much exercise but better than nothing. I think it was actually pretty helpful as I'm feeling pain free this evening. Tomorrow morning we're going to walk to brunch which is about two miles away so I will postpone the full body EPIC until Monday.
I think I might have been doing too much last month so now I'm limiting to one thing per day whether it be treadmill, outdoor walk or EPIC workout. I also switched my apple watch to only require 20 mins of exercise per day to match UAC. I know it's not necessary to get the circles everyday but for me it's like a check list of things I should do daily and helps with my procrastination so I'm going with it.5 -

Exercise - light yoga in the morning and then a 25 minute swim in the evening

The rain was the pits all day but I belong to a lovely gym with a pool and spa so headed there. I’m still getting over covid (tested positive six weeks ago and was ill for four weeks despite being vaccinated). So not quite ready to go crazy in the gym but this helped me feel like I’m on my way back to fitness.

That sounds delicious - and healthy! I guess to figure out how many servings, add them all up and divide by 6. Sounds like a lot of servings though!
@Mrs_Hoffer - glad you got in at least 10 miles! I love your ice cream walks.tammymoore24 wrote: »Within calories - yes

I own a Leslie Sansone DVD and really like those workouts. Some people can’t stand her voice and laugh, but I ignore it (or turn down the volume) and work up a good sweat. They’re a lot of fun and a great workout.

I did something embarrassingly stupid. For the first two days of October I couldn’t figure out why I couldn’t post here! I was blaming my iPod, blaming MFP, getting all frustrated. Then I sent the ever-wise and much smarter @Mrs_Hoffer a message, who ever so kindly said “ you didn’t JOIN October”. Oh good grief. So here I am. Finally.
Two good days so far, all yeses, no pass days.10 -

Starting a few days late here, with amended goals, since I'm still managing pain. For now my exercise is stretching and slow walks. I'm back to tracking calories. And for health reasons, I must cut down sugar. So here we go
