Hello OMAD Family,
This is my last and final thread. All of my other threads veered away from my purpose for being here and that is losing weight eating One Meal a Day. I lost the weight before eating one meal a day and somehow lost track and thought doing something else would also work, but as it turned out after having gained 30+ pounds back. I now know to ditch the other things and stick to what works. OMAD!
So here it is, My name is Tracey and I eat one meal a day...I eat one meal a day...I eat one meal a day...I eat one meal a day!
My 15-pound goal weight range is 145 - 160 pounds
My weigh in days will be on Thursdays
My 4-hour eating window is 2:00pm - 6:00pm
I will allow myself a varied once a week splurge day if needed.
To get to my goal range, I will do one plate Basic OMAD or (OPAD) and after I reach my goal I will continue to do OMAD but not necessarily one Plate only. I made losing weight an obsession when I should have just decided what I was going to do and made it a no-brainer daily way of eating. I have learned my lesson and OMAD is my daily no-brainer way of eating.

Thank you both! I just need to have the same committment to my day to day eating as I do with my monthly 3-day fast. I have no thoughts of veering from it and now I must apply it to OMAD way of eating. I only eat one meal a day.1

You can do thisπππ0

Thanks! Well I didn't get a chance to weigh myself this morning, but I weighed in at 184.5 yesterday so I am going to guesstimate a weight of 183.0 based on my other fast day losses. With that I am going to repost my OMAD stats as today is my first eating day following my 3-day fast.
Current Weight: ~183.0 pounds
My 15-pound goal weight range is 145 - 160 pounds
My weigh in days will be on Thursdays
My 4-hour eating window is 2:00pm - 6:00pm

I will be modifying my meal time just for today since I am coming off of an 85 hour fast. I broke my fast with a superfood smoothie at 11:05 and then had my meal pictured below at 11:30. I ended up only eating 2 of the ribs and half of the salad. It is 12:00 and I am done eating for the day. I will be back to my above eating window tomorrow.

Happy Friday!! This morning's weight 181.0. I don't know if my weight was lower yesterday but I am happy to see this weight. I have decided to keep to early lunch time meals as much as possible although I was really hungry last night. I did not give in to the hunger and was rewarded on the scale this morning.0

Today's meal. I decided to eat my meal within a 2 hour period instead of 1 hour. I think having my shake with my meal since it is a meal replacement shake caused me to be too full to eat all of my meal on yesterday which reduced my calorie intake and caused me to be very hungry later in the day. So I will have my shake and then an hour to an hour and a half later, eat my meal. This will allow me to get in all of my calories. I did this today and was able to eat all of my food.
Salad, ribs, life cuisine cauliflower meat lovers pizza bowl, Superfood shake

My husband and I are heading out tomorrow for a week long vacation to Las Vegas. My goal is to not pick up any weight during this trip.0
-
That seems like a good goal -- good luck and have a lot of fun!0

Hello OMAD fam, I am back from vacation. Las Vegas was good. I am not a gambler so I didn't do any of the casinos. I went to a couple of cirque du soleil shows (Michael Jackson One and "O"), shark reef aquarium, and Hoover Dam.
TOM showed up on the last day of vacation so I haven't weighed yet since returning home. I will most likely not do a weight check until Thursday.
I didn't stick to complete OMAD while on vacation but I am back to OMAD since returning home. My new eating plan going forward is a water fast on Wednesdays with 3 vegetarian OMAD days and 3 regular OMAD days.
I am looking to reduce my meat consumption and was going to go pescatarian, but thought that may not be sustainable so I opted for having 3 vegetarian days where no meat is consumed and then 3 days where I can eat meat and with only having one meal, it would drastically cut my meat consumption and not have me feeling deprived. The wednesday fast day keeps everything balanced and gets me an extended fast once a week.
So my new eating plan looks like this:
Sunday - Vegetarian OMAD
Monday - OMAD
Tuesday - Vegetarian OMAD
Wednesday - Fast Day
Thursday - OMAD
Friday - Vegetarian OMAD
Saturday - OMAD0 -
Welcome back! Sounds like you had fun Your new eating plan looks good0

Hello all,
Today is day 2 of my monthly 3 day fast and it is also my son's birthday (turned 15). He wants to go to BJ's for his birthday dinner. I tried to convince him to change his birthday dinner to Thursday or after but he said no, he wants to go today so I will be sitting at the restaurant drinking water while the family and other guests eat.1 -
Aww π Tracy I missed you ,the forum has slowed down.i am glad you are doing awesome. Way to go on your fast. Day 4 OMAD and I am getting used to it .letβs do this π0

All went well, I got to look at a bunch of yummy food and eat vicariously through my family while I sipped on my water. Day 3 of my 3 day fast and so far so good.0

This morning's weight after 3-day fast 179.9 pounds. I started my 3-day fast at 184.9 pounds.
Here we go another month. Goal for this month is to at least maintain this 5 pound loss. Not looking for quick losses, just steady losses.2 -
That's great news! Keep up the good work! If we can lose 5 lbs per month, that would be terrific!0
-
Back on track, I see.0
-
I did it before and I know I can do it again. Consistency is key and I am working on that.1

Happy Thursday everyone. This morning's weight 178.7 pounds. My weight had jumped back up to 183 on Tuesday but I stuck to my eating plan, which I love by the way, and after yesterday's fast day, I am down a pound from last week's ending ending fast weight. This is great and I am on my way. Consistency is key, and I am committed to myself and committed to my plan. I am not going to worry too much about the fluctuations and just stick to the program because the program indeed works.
My goal for the month was to maintain my 3-day fast loss so to actually come out below that is super exciting.0 -
Yippee! You are now in the 170s land! Congrats! Keep up the good work! Have a wonderful weekend!0
-
Thanks JP, I am so looking forward to get through the 170's and seeing some consistent losses. My new eating plan with 3 vegetarian days, 3 meat eating days, and one mid-week fast day is really working for me and I am not having any problems sticking with it.0
-
That sounds like a great planπ If its working for you, that is the one for you π Glad to hear that your are peddling with me. A 90 mins peddle a day helps me a lot since I can't zumba for now β€οΈ Have a wonderful weekend π0
