I'm up a pound this week. Ugh.

I am really struggling to get back into "no snacking" mode. I know that most of my snacking is just boredom eating, but somehow every time I'm bored and want to have a snack, I manage to rationalize it as "hunger" in the moment. It feels like I'm just throwing myself down the stairs each time!

Anyway, will still work on getting back into the groove.

    Down 4.2

One reckless day ending in a whole bottle of wine followed by mindful eating the other 6 days.
Ever notice how alcohol can interrupt mindfulness? Pretty obvious except in the moment.

I’m going to call it a good week overall. I was in the healthy eating range six of seven days, and the one day I wasn’t I was only twenty points over my daily points. (That may seem like a lot, but trust me, based on my history that’s a cheap date!) I lost 0.6# for the week, and briefly saw a daily weigh-in that started with a 1. It also made it six successive weeks with a net loss, and left me needing to lose another 0.4# by the end of the month to regain my average loss rate of 2# per month for the year. As of this weigh-in, I’m 20.4# from free Lifetime and 22.4# from goal.

It appears that it’s easier to stay on plan when your spouse has oral surgery. I’m thinking that’s a tactic and not a strategy, though. 😉
