Adding one more to the 3 Yes day!
And thank you for the sharing of your own food/travel experiences! I really enjoyed reading everyone’s posts. The pandemic has made cooking our own food on trips a more desired option within our extended family unit. I bring some food items and basics but I am limited in what I can bring depending on where we are going. This is a work in progress for me but I feel like I am moving forward in the right direction. And I am finding it to be an interesting challenge to simply change the way I approach travel in general which is long long overdue for me. We are typically pretty active being outdoors wherever we are so not spending a lot of time in the kitchen is one of my goals but eating healthy is also a top priority. On this past trip where I did enjoy the occasional splurge, I returned at my pre-trip weight which was a real win for me. Thanks again!4 -

yes for 3
Is it bad that I will throw a wet towel over the smoke detector in a hotel room and break out the camp stove and cook full meals? I have multiple food allergies which cause my lungs lots of inflammation. So I personally carry a cooler with snacks and meals anytime I travel. The large cooler carries chicken and beef. I literally carry a camp kitchen. Never had a problem. The best hotels I have been to actually have outdoor grilling areas. Now I airbnb it so I can have a full kitchen and not carry my portable kitchen. I am here to tell you that you can transport anything as long as you have room.7 -
Nope - Yep - Nope.

We haven´t travelled much for a long time but are expecting to start doing so as I am retiring. I just brought a travel blender so I can do a meal replacement shake instead of the choices at the hotels continental breakfast which really don´t work for me. I also plan to take nuts instead of sweets like we used to do for snacks.
