Exercise Yes, housework. Did a lot of mini projects plus cooking and then cleaning kitchen. Had to have been on my feet at least 4 hours. Made a new soup to me which was nummy, A lemon chicken orzo soup.

I was over my calories more often this week, but only over my bmr once. From a math standpoint don’t see how I could gain two pounds but who knows. Hopefully will have a good loss next week and will even out

Checked out some more cookbooks from the library and am trying to go through them. They make me hungry The library has so many cookbooks I’d like to go through but I think after I finish these ones I need to not check any out for a while. I have over 300 scanned recipes on my phone I want to try at some point, not to mention all the recipes I have bookmarked online.
I also bought an America’s test kitchen book that had been on my want list for a while… An 800 page cooking school cookbook. I’m sure could find things similar online, but I have enjoyed some of their other cookbooks and find their tips helpful. I feel like I am still clueless a lot in the kitchen despite making almost all my food last several months and googling countless phrases that start with how to.

Exercise: Yes, shopping. Wandered around a lot and ended up with over 7000 steps from shopping. Went shopping specifically for a pair of walking and hiking shoes. Have had the hardest time finding women’s hiking shoes in wide. Finally found a men’s pair that fit well. Also bought two new pair of walking shoes. All my other shoes are at least 8/9 years old, bought when I worked retail. I hate shoe shopping so much but it was a task that was past due. Also got a couple new shirts and pants, a size down from the last time I bought anything :)

Exercise: Yes, 114 minutes hiking. Am a bit sore after sitting down a lot in the evening but just normal after hike soreness. My new hiking shoes got broke in enough last few days that they were comfortable, and no blisters or anything like that. Now it’s time to wear the next new pair around the house for a while1 -
