I’m calling the day a win - 3 yeses and 0/3 pass days so far.
I did eat over my “base” calories though - I stopped eating back my exercise calories awhile ago, but am giving myself a little grace this time. I burned over 1200 calories between a 4 mile walk and 10 mile bike ride. I ate some of those back at a Christmas party where the food was over the top delicious. I went through the buffet choosing selectively, taking small portions and did not overfill my plate. I could have skipped the dessert table until I realized there were mint brownies and I’m a sucker for anything mint. They were pretty small pieces though so I got 3 bites and done. Got home, added it all up, and still had 600 calories to spare, IF I add back the exercise calories.5 -

I am not looking at the scale so much as who I am... more at how my body
responds to certain foods/exercise... I know with all my walking now...
I have a Lot more muscle mass compared to past flabby fat... I can tell

Saturday December 4
Wonderful opening posts @bMcC9 Thank you!
Today came close to being a pass day when late afternoon I thought I should just stop trying to figure out the takeout dinner that was planned. Then gave my head a shake. Looked everything up and overestimated. Kicked out another workout after we had eaten. Turns out it wasn’t as hard to track as I was anticipating and the pre-tracking sure kept my serving sizes in check and stopped me from continuing to graze.

I think I forgot to post yesterday (Dec 4).
✅✅✅ Luckily I've had my calorie goal at a "maintenance" level since last month, so it's been a little easier for me to stay 'under'. Plus, I've been sick with this bronchitis crap for over a week now and my appetite just wasn't what it usually is.
