    Coconut macaroon... so simple to make and tasty! I dropped a couple of chocolate chips on top at the end. For all convection ovens are supposed to give even heat, the ones closer to the fan got slightly overcooked (still delicious) which is kinda frustrating. It's the first time I've made this; next time I'm shuffle the cooking sheets halfway to ensure even cooking.

    Today was a lazy day... Since I wasn't motivated to putty nail holes or caulk, I decided to bake bread and cookies since I was out of both... Both turned out most excellent...

    Here's an odd one... The local grocery store had drumsticks on sale. So I bought a flat of 10 of 'em. My wife suggested a recipe which called for basting them with a mixture of melted butter, honey, soy sauce and spices. I didn't have honey or soy sauce... so I substituted molasses and balsamic vinegar...

    They turned out delicious!! How about that for a leap of faith!!
