    Happy New Year! Wishing you all a healthy 2022!

    I like to exercise on New Years Day...set the stage for hopefully good habits throughout the test. Yucky and rainy here today....but didn't give into the excuses in my head. I just got wet!

    Happy New Year. I was at PF at 7:00 this morning. I think there was 6 of us. I did a 30 minute lower body workout, 30 minutes on the Treadmill and 15 minutes on the elliptical.

    Then I took down the tree and decorations. I’m my mother’s daughter. She always took down the tree and decorations on New Year’s Day.

    I managed 6.96 miles in 123 mins today. It was beautiful! But the wind was cold!

    I did yoga with my friend. Then went and spent the day visiting with my daughter.

    New Years starting weight. 156.8 Must do better. Working out tomorrow with weights. Then visiting my friend and their baby.

    Kathy - we always take down Christmas on New Years Day also! Put it away and move on for the year.

    We went to my cousin Cindy's for pork and sauerkraut yesterday which is our tradition. She didn't have it last year with COVID. Was smaller this year with all vaccinated people, but I liked it that way to be honest.

    Today is my husband's birthday...he wants to go and watch the Philadelphia Eagles Game and have appetizers....so we will do that. Back to work and my routine tomorrow. I'm ready for that to be honest . Too much holiday eating lol!

    No walking for me. Decided early that it was just too cold...then the day turned warm and beautiful. Darn!! Oh, well. Tomorrow is a new day.

    Chris it is just cold and windy here.

    Tomorrow starts my month of early bird. I go in an hour early and check the floors and courtrooms. But I get off an hour early also. 👌 So I should be able to get in more steps and some workouts before dinner.

    Back to the races ladies! I ate and drank so many yummy things over the holiday. Yesterday my husband wanted to go and watch the Eagles game for his birthday. Beer and appetizers...yikes on the scale. But back to fasting and keeping it real!

    I decided not to drive into work today because we are meant to get 1-3 inches of snow near work. Not a lot, but people around here drive like crazy people. Do figured why risk it right?

    Putting pork carnitas in the crockpot for dinner with those carb balance street taco sheets (they are super low carb and a ton of fiber....highly recommend if you haven't tried!)

    Came in and did 45 min on the elliptical.

    Georgia is having really horrible weather. We had storms with 45 mph winds last night. Our power went out for just a little while and there was a tree down at the entrance of the subdivision. Suffice it to say I didn’t make PF before my mother’s appoint.

    It stayed windy all day so I did 60 minutes on my recumbent. Got in some steps at the hospital waiting for mom. She has an appointment tomorrow with the oncologist. We will get the results of the CT scan. I hope to get to PF tomorrow evening.

    Made it to PF after mom’s appointment. Treadmill - 50 minutes and upper body workout - 30 minutes. There was not a lot of people there at 1:30. I love the crowd meter part of the PF app. I can check to see how busy it is before going.

    Kathy - you CAN do it! I'm with you. 5 lbs this month....I always consider a quick gain sort of fake weight. Easy to gain, easy to lose!

    I went to work yesterday. Didn't get formal exercise, but I did walk the building a lot....that was at least something. 10 people in the whole building....crazy.

    Working from home today...so need to get that exercise in!
