Karen thanks for the recipe It has been bitter cold here also. Today should be warmer.

Kathy you are rocking it. That AP is great.

    Hi Chris. Keep walking.

I went home early yesterday. Helped Rocky with his water pump. It went out in his truck. Anti freeze went everywhere. What a mess.

Super cold in Georgia. Low 28 and high only 43 so I spent the day with Ron. We binge watched an interesting show on Hulu called Dopestick. It was about the origin of the opioid crisis and how big Pharm deceived the public about the addictive nature of OxyContin. Powerful…

It was a good day. We’ve missed those days of just being together.

Kathy, My brother is currently in the hospital for pancreatitis and getting a variety of pain meds. He mentioned they switched him from opiods to oxy and he suspected it was because it was less addictive. I told him he'd be surprised to know how many superstars have died cuz of oxy ODs. So sad. The world needs to be educated.

Kathy so many drugs are so addictive. That sounds like a great day. We hit 40 today and I thought it was warm. Went for a walk with hubby and the dogs.

Paula wishing your brother the best.

I did a full body work out with weights. Then went for a walk. Visited friends and played a video game.

Chris I messed up. Your FitBit challenge was full. :s I messed up

Man! I couldn't get off the oxy fast enough after my hip surgery. I think it was the reason for both blocked bowel episodes I had. First after my back surgery then after my hip surgery. Not fun. Not good stuff.
Paula sending good thoughts and hugs to your brother.
I did 6.22 miles in 108 mins in the cold and now I'm reading.
Shelley, it wasn't your fault!!! One of the other invites invited a bunch of her friends and they all joined immediately. You are on for our Workweek Hustle this week!! Woo who!! Let's go!

I joined Chris. ;) thanks. And I am ok with people asking others to join. We might need several groups. B) My mom is always constipated from that stuff too. Yuch!

I am a little sore from yesterdays workout. But went for a long walk today. Had to carry Libby some. She did good though. Also went to 355 at the theatre. Great movie with strong women.

Thank you for being a little amazing supportive community buried in the nooks and crannies of social media. Feel so lucky for you girls, my MFP fam. <3

My brother's 102.2 fever yesterday triggered horrible worries, like omnicron? sepsis? infection? Then he called today and said it was just a temporary spike (which isn't uncommon with pancreatitis). It was wonderful to hear his voice.

We've all been dealing with our loved ones are hurting recently, haven't we? Hugs.

p.s. My clothes don't fit and I'm afraid to weigh myself.

Hey ladies! Agree on the painkillers. I saw my sister struggle when she got her knee replaced. You have to keep upping the dosage to get relief.

My sister has COVID and one of her sons. It never ends. All vaxed and boosted, but I guess that doesn't really matter anymore.

In the office today....with 8 other people (the office holds 275), I may stop coming in for a while, or maybe move to 1x a week. 2 hours in the car and no workout on office days.

I have an appointment after work and won't get home until 6:30pm....doubt I will have energy to exercise, so may be a rest day!

Paula I love being a supportive community. Yes! And yes, sadly we all have family, friends, suffering. I just hope they all get well soon. I am about to throw my scale away. But lets give it another try.

Karen I am with you about the whole vaccination thing. You just don't know. And I am also trying to separate myself from groups of people wherever I can.

Walked the dogs yesterday. Barney got cactus spines. Walking again today.

Forgot to post yesterday: 50 minutes on Treadmill and a 30 minute. upper body workout.

After the holidays I think we all have family and friends that tested positive. Luckily because of being vaccinated and or boosted no one that I know has gotten very sick or were hospitalized.

Praying for your family Karen. Hug 🤗

Paula it has been very difficult lately. Here’s a hug. 🤗

I weigh in tomorrow. Shelley I may be throwing my scale away as well. 🤣

Did not walk today and it was BEAUTIFUL and WARM outside!!! I was so mad this morning. Ordered grocery drop-off for the second time in order to get hot roasted chicken. I deliberately made the order for after the chicken was ready. Both times the order was processed 1 1/2 to 2 hours early. The first one was delivered before we were even out of bed!! The one today was started 1 1/2 hours early and the chicken was not ready!!! I went to different store...chicken was out and ready for purchase before the other store's order was delivered. UGH!!! Man! :s
Well, I ended up making my chicken bean soup...took up the rest of the morning...and by the time Ronan was picked up any thoughts of walking had vanished! :#

Kathy there should be a national throw away your scale day. I have not been on it in a couple of days. Shame on me. :D

Chris I have never done an order like that.

Worked out with my friend Angie yesterday. We did weights. Joey has been not feeling well. Rocky took him to his vet. I am crossing my fingers for him. Going to work out after work tonight.

Too busy today for sure at work. Didn't get up for hours. Got like 2000 steps. We'll be in the office tomorrow and we'll have to do a bunch of laps :) did have really lovely Protein salad bowls for dinner.

My trainer's client Monday night tested positive for Covid, so I'm on my own until Monday the 17th. Just hope everyone is okay.
Got 5.98 miles done in 104 mins this morning. It was soooo foggy this morning I couldn't see to the end of the block that's only two houses down!! By the time we picked up Ronan and were coming home, I could look straight up and see blue sky, but fog was still thick on the ground. By 10:00 it was beautiful outside! Crazy stuff!

We’re under a winter storm watch here in Atlanta. Storms here usually mean ice. We shut down. They are already raiding the stores for milk, bread, water and snacks. I had a busy day that included the grocery store. Snacks for my parents and healthy snacks for me.

Got in 30 minutes on recumbent early morning then another 30 yesterday evening. Headed to PF this morning and Saturday as I probably will not be able to get there Sunday. I try not to
    miss consecutive days.

Let’s finish the month strong ladies! 💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾
