NSV - clothes 'may' fit 'slightly' better8 -
My NSV this month is that since I've gone off of all grains about a week ago (not just wheat), not only am I beginning to sleep better, but yesterday I was able to bring the FREE sweet treats that they gave away in our cafeteria at work HOME TO MY HUBBY! I had ABSOLUTELY NO DESIRE to eat any of them (and they were ALL chocolate!!!) Now THAT'S truly a marvel - because I'm a serious chocoholic!!
I was glad that I came home with a little 'something sweet' for him, because being the sweetheart that he is, he stopped and bought me a pint of some kind of almondmilk chocolate ice cream. He said they were completely out of both the keto Rebel and Halo Top chocolate ice cream.... but it's the thought that counts!! In years past, he's bought me a large box of chocolates, and I was SO THANKFUL that he didn't this year - as I wouldn't've wanted to hurt his feelings by not eating them! Lol.15 -

NSV
After decades + an intensive past 3 exploratory years, I invented an on-going art project that brings me great joy❣️
I cannot wait to work on it each day, which is helping my food intake be effortless!
Life is a fascinating journey!
I also completed two cross stitch designs I’d mostly done in the 90’s & Gifted one with an inscription to my SIL for her milestone birthday. I kept the other.
Now I’ve pulled out a 3rd mini-quilt to finish (for me again LOL) that is so much easier now that I have a good iron & wool pressing pad!!
These were all projects I kept when I decluttered in 2015-2018…. Gave away many others. #KeepWhatYouLove!

NSVs:
~ I have developed habits which support my chosen lifestyle.
~ I am fitter and healthier than I was in my 40s and 50s.
~ All my stats have remained in the normal range for over 3 years.
~ I am down 5 dress sizes.
~ I am emptying my wardrobe of clothes that don’t look good on me.

Two NSV-s come to mind:
- My old jeans from before I'd gained weight still don't fit...they're too loose.
- To reach my weight goal and maintain, I've been preparing almost all my meals and snacks at home. I realized looking through my log I've been eating really healthy with mostly whole foods, no added sugar and a large amount of fruits and vegetables. Before my time on this site that was hardly the case.14 -

NSV: I have a really expensive 4 season jacket that was a little snug a few years ago so I didn’t wear it. My old take the dogs out jacket had a zipper blow out early this winter so it left me my with my new jacket or this one I tried this one and sooo glad I kept it it’s warm and cozy on negative digit mornings and I am comfortable in it😊 it’s becoming a favorite again.
Tracked logged over 4 miles walking today a good office day.14 -

A few NSVs to share: losing inches (4" off natural waist, 4.5" off hips), being able to wear my favorite clothes again, learning how to build new healthy habits and make them stick, and making the mindset work a priority!🧠💗11 -

Yes x3. Shovelling snow and upper body strength. I can already tell I’m going to be sore tomorrow!
NSVs: pulled out a pair of jeans I haven’t worn in awhile and they fit much more comfortably. I’m increasing the weights I’m lifting and there’s a noticeable improvement in my core strength.10 -

UAC: 1-2-3-4-5-P-7-P-9-10-11-12-13-14-15
I love NSV on UAC! Always so fun to read. I have been saving my NSVs to share today and both are fitness related. The first one is I moved up from 5 pound weights to 8 pound weights for my Jazzercise classes. I’m able to do most of the sets, but there are a couple that I wasn’t able to get all the reps in. The second NSV is holding a plank (not on my knees, but on my toes and elbows) and side planks for the whole Rachel Platton “Fight Song” song. First time ever for completing an entire plank song. :-)
In a weird twist of an NSV, I tried on my favorite skorts that I always thought made me look slimmer. They are way too big and I'm sad about it. I'm sad that skorts that supposedly make me look slimmer are too big because I'm actually slimmer. That is just weird.13 -

pass day ...
NSV for me is that in spite of all of my pass days I'm still maintaining my weight within my preferred range. Technically that isn't a non-scale victory but the fact that I'm not doing damage counts in my book.13 -

NSV- I am decluttering my house and throwing away loads of stuff, expired or just that I don´t use. I also repurposed one of those things I could not let go from my parents estate that had been in my garage (after having been in my parents garage) that hadn´t been used in about 40 years-- it was a camping ice refrigerator/cooler that I used to construct a fermentation box for my new hobby of making fermented foods.

NSV – I am improving in the gym. Higher weights/more reps/shorter rests. I re-started at the gym last November, and have been going 2/3 times a week since then, I use the resistance machines – I need to work on a weak leg – and I have increased the level of work.
