Yes x3. Strength training with cardio intervals.
Ironically enough, today I hit my goal weight. But a ‘soft’ 135 of today is not the same body as a strong 135 of a few years ago. So my NSV is to ditch my goals around the scale number and continue working on endurance, strength, balance and stretching and celebrate victories in those areas over some number that’s always bouncing around.8 -
Pass Day #2 for me:
Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? No
Did I stay within my calorie budget for the day? Slightly over
Did I keep track of everything I ate and drank? Almost
Today is a mental health day for me (literally) and I used a small Coke as my comfort. My NSV is consistently tracking my food. I can’t remember the last time I tracked my food for almost 3 weeks! Also, I’m quitting the gym I hate and looking into buying a Total Gym again ( sold mine years ago). Just have to save up the money, but I really enjoyed mine plus working out alone!5 -
Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? 48 minutes walking, 46 minutes Peloton, 1 minute jumping jacks, 5 minutes stretching
Did I stay within my calorie budget for the day? Yes
Did I keep track of everything I ate and drank? Yes
Pass days - 1/3
NSV:
Attended a supper on the weekend that had tighter seating and I didn't have anxiety about fitting8 -

Tues March 15
Exercise - I achieved the trifecta - 15 minutes MommaStrong, 15 minutes walk, 40 minutes stretching
Tracking - Sort of tracked, but gave up with birthday takeout and birthday cake
Calories - definitely over even my modified goal
Minor NSV for yesterday is that I was faced with a long day out of the house for work followed by my daughter's 10th birthday celebration. I knew I couldn't really accurately count the calories, and that my eating couldn't be optimal. However, I still optimized wherever I could and prelogged and tracked and prepped all the food on Monday. From the takout place, I got a burrito bowl with no rice, and then I made some cauliflower rice (2 servings). They wound up giving me an actual burrito, but I just dumped out half the inside onto my cauli rice and threw away the tortilla (after taking a bit of course but it wasn't even good). Today I'll have the other half of burrito on the other half of rice, which of course means another day of not accurate tracking but I'll just have to live with it. I did eat way too much of the birthday cake.
Bigger NSV is just how much I have been learning this month from all of you about how to do this weight loss/weight maintenance thing long-term. And tracking completely accurately for a few weeks for the first time since I started tracking a year ago! That's one too.

Mar 15/22 - No to logging, no to staying within calories, yes to exercise.
My NSV was given to me by my daughter today - perfect timing. We went for a walk on a park that has steep hills. The last time we climbed them I was 10 years younger. My cardiovascular & lung health is better today as well as my endurance, even though I'm at my highest weight ever. This group has contributed to my success (I'm definitely more active in the winter months now that I strive for at least 20 minutes daily - not that I make it every day but I consistently try) as well as swimming daily in the summer months has added benefits that carry over to the winter months. Huge surprise - I fully expected to be crying on those hills lol. In fact we guess that today I was about where we ended the summer in 2012 when we used to visit the park deliberately to get in shape. Thank you UAC!5 -
Way to go @Jana_2020 — an amazing success!!! 🌻3

3/15/2022 (Today is the Ides of March -- I mentioned that to my office mates and they had no idea what I meant. So, I attempted explain what the Ides of a month is and then the "significance" of the Ides of March. Then, my seeing the headline about the Senate voting to make DST permanent led one of the ladies asking me to try to explain the time changes to someone who came to Arizona from a state that actually makes the jump. I'm not sure I was successful in either endeavor. Hahahahah!)
Exercise? Yes
Tracking? Yes
Calories? No (It's really too bad that stress, near panic over a shocking dental bill, and everything else going on, don't burn a s***-ton of calories. )6 -
