Protein shake

Has anybody found a great protein shake that’s low calorie and doesn’t cost a fortune? I’m not crazy about Premier, and most powders I’ve bought are just awful. Looking for something to start my metabolism since I rarely eat in the morning and sometimes I can’t even make myself eat granola or fruit or anything.

Shakeology. I’ve tried different ones but I’m trying not to add to my sugar count during the day and I struggle with enough veggies during the day.

310 Nutrition. They're delicious, 90-110 calories so you can add your own stuff like fruits and veggies or yogurt and still be low calorie as a meal replacement. They also have a great community on Facebook and tons of people with success stories.

Have you tried all the flavors of Premier Protein. The only one I like is chocolate. I have tired all the other flavors and they were a no go for me. I find the best price is at Costco and they go on sale their as well.

My favorites are definitely fairlife. They can be hard to find lately. I will typically stick with the vanilla and have a half at a time. I will add different things to jazz them up if I feel like it or just add to my black coffee.

There is a trick to the powders... you premix and leave it over night. Also, make sure there is enough liquid.

I tend to do a 50/50 of water and almond milk. I make a couple servings and put it in the fridge it helps the chalky texture because it has time to "melt".

Its substantially cheaper than pre-mixed shakes. I also dont like the consistency of the premix. I tend to like mine a little more like "iced coffee" consistency.

I like the Muscle Milk ones for the protein content and the flavor is good as well. I order them online from Sam's Club.

Creamy Vanilla Zero carb isopure is my favorite. Not gritty and blends smooth. No sugar, no wierd aftertaste. 100 calories per serving. I buy it in bulk at Costco for about $50. Lasts me several months.you can buy a smaller size to try it but Costco also has a great return policy if you don’t like it.

My husband and I like the Orgain powders, both chocolate and vanilla. We get it when it’s on sale at Costco and stock up. Sometimes we drink it with just water. It’s also really good when you use the chocolate and add frozen banana and PB powder, that is so good I would have that for a dessert.
When I’m trying to get more fiber I will do one scoop of Orgain and a blender full of fresh fruits and veggies, and maybe some matcha and flax meal. I prefer the vanilla when I’m mixing in fruits (other than banana) and veggies, my husband is fine doing that with either flavor.
When it’s on sale at Costco it’s $0.67/ounce
