    Weigh Day Thursday
    PW: 216.8 (from two weeks ago)
    CW: 225.0
    Ohhh the gains--🤨
    So much easier than the losses.
    I had some sort of bug (COVID negative) and pretty much used it as an excuse to take two weeks off logging and working out--and this is the result. Time to turn it around!

    @888Angie888 You can do this! Setbacks happen to all of us - and it's likely it's mostly water weight - just get right back on plan and the weight will go away.

    @lindamtuck2018 please excuse me from Weigh ins for a bit. I still have tubes in.
    Stress eating and emotion eating are hard. I am there with those of you going thru it. Between my stress prior to surgery and now my forced idleness I am snacking constantly. I am terrified about gaining a lot of weight right after getting my skin removed. Keep fighting, everyone. You deserve to be happy.

    Good evening everyone.
    Calories 2150 or close. Snacking and larger meals. I hate this inactivity. I have to figure something out quick.

    Awesome exercise day! I have a referral to a plastic surgeon. Might take awhile to get an appointment. In Canada, everything is a wait when it comes to specialist. Right now it is for a breast reduction to help with my back and shoulder but I am going to ask her about my belly apron, my arm wings and thighs.

    @888Angie888
    Get back to what you were doing before you got sick. You were losing weight so I positive you will when you are back on track.

    @rwood566
    I will note you as excused. Let me know when you are ready to weigh again. I know you used walking as a way to avoid snacking and this is not something you can do. Are you able to do mini walks around your house? Maybe walk for 5 minutes until the snack urge is gone.

    You are doing so great with your steps! What do you do each day to hit your step goal? Also, thanks!

    @peng123
    Thanks. I was surprised when I stood on the scale. It was a bad week of eating but the last two days have been on point. Amazing jog! Are you doing your volunteer work this weekend?

    Steps: 6944
    Exercise: lots of mini walks

    My husband had his doctor appointment this morning and I went with him. The doctor said there are a few things that could cause the positive test but if it’s cancer it will be caught early. We both feel relieved. He will get the colonoscopy within 6 weeks. Hopefully, my binges are behind me for awhile.

    My daughter and son in law have tested positive for Covid. My granddaughter is still testing negative and I hope it stays that way after spending the day with her. My son-in-law was here twice yesterday but wasn’t here long. We dropped off some cold medics and snacks for my granddaughters.

    I think today will be another mini walk day as I am super tired. 😴 Sorry for the book.

    Happy FriYAY!

    I understand. I have very few pictures with my kids were young as I hated getting my picture taken. I still do but I try to get some with my grandkids.

    Thanks for understanding ...I was 120 in high school ...I ballooned up with both pregnancies ...at one point I was close to 280 ...I did well in 2008/2009 but I was also much younger ...I am proud of my accomplishments ... now if I can just stick to it and finally finish my journey ( I have never finished before)

    Steps: 5,545
    Exercise: mini walks

    Getting ready to go grocery shopping. I have a massage today and we have to drop a few things at my daughters. I am still really tired today so hopefully this afternoon I have enough energy to go to the pool. It’s going to be hot here again today. I can’t believe I had to turn the air conditioning on this early. Have a fun Saturday!

    I get steps in where ever I can. I try to walk for exercise 1-2.5 miles per day outside weather permitting. Beyond that I do little things, I pace while I am waiting - on the microwave, or coffee marker, I take the long way everywhere even where it is only a few extra steps, if I want to go to the kitchen instead of going straight there I loop down the hall and through the dining room, if I am going somewhere I park in an inconvenient spot to get extra steps, when I put away the laundry I carry one type of thing at a time instead of as much as I can to make multiple trips, when I water the plants I use a gallon jug that I keep refilling and carry it around the yard instead of using the hose, I do step/dance exercise when it is not good weather for outside walking, I try not to sit for more than an hour at a time and at least get up and walk the house a couple of times each hour and finally I volunteer at a charity thrift shop three afternoons a week most days in addition to standing I get a few thousand steps in walking around the store.

    Weekly weigh in

    Morethanjustanumber

    Weigh in day Saturday 5/14

    PW 230.6
    CW 228.8

    Loss 1.8

    I was at or below 230 all week! I really watched my carbs this week except for two days, eating out an Italian restaurant I did have pasta and one night I had baked beans but other than that aimed for around 50 carbs from veggies with no breads, rice, potatoes, or added sugars.
