    Late sleep in (for me).

    Perfect pool day yesterday. Tucker came in twice on his own accord. Seems to be getting more and more comfortable.

    Hot and 90s and again today.

    Where is everyone? Sleeping in, I guess.

    Beautiful day, yesterday, and more of the same forecast for today: 70 and sunny.

    I worked for four hours at church, removing brush and vines from perimeter areas of the property, then came home and worked for three more hours trimming and mowing. The old arthritic hands felt like claws. Think I'll take it easy today.

    The heat broke thanks to a light storm last night. Predicted high today is only 80!!

    We have my great neices 3rd birthday at 3p. I got her the Barbie deluxe camper ! She loved coming to the lake last summer and staying in the RV. Can't wait for them to come again.

    Tom and hiscds got that pile of woodchips spread out, looks great! He'll cut lawn this morning. I'm going to pressure wash the deck. We are going to stain it this week.

    I had the Barbie camper back in the day. And a 3 story, made by dad, decorated by mom dream house. I bet she will love it.

    Warmer here today. Should be in the 70’s all week. It looks nice out now but think it’s still 35 or so.

    Ron cleaned the wood burning fireplace good yesterday so probably no more fires.

    . Worked screens at both campuses this morning. Had some hiccups but oh well.
    . Now I'm going to sit back and watch some Braves baseball ⚾.

    Afternoon BBB.

    Welcome home, Raine. We've missed you!
    Been MIA due to early rising and early out the door for our club trial this weekend. Takes me an hour to get to the trial site and we started at 7AM instead of the normal 8AM. Good thing too, the heat nearing noon became oppressive and we finished both days before noon. No dogs appeared to have any heat stress. The judges were very good and did not keep dogs down for long, plus we had big tanks (plastic 55 gal barrels cut in half) of water at the beginning, middle, and end of the courses for dunking dogs before and after their runs. Each course was about 400 yds long. One handler looked overheated after the first series this morning, but he is notoriously heat intolerant. Fortunately, or unfortunately depending how you look at it, his dog was out after the first series. I think he was happy to go home.
    Naughty Babe showed up Saturday. Good Babe showed up today. It was a very competitive trial, and Babe got edged out for a ribbon due to a little bad luck in the ribbon round.
    When I see the red lights on in the pool, I just want to start singing "Rox-annnnne, you don't have to put on the red light!"
    AC, I only have AC in my truck. DW hates AC. I personally would put in a system from a local HVAC service.
