👋 It’s my day to post and I couldn’t come up with a topic.
Yesterday I had a wonderful day with all of my grandkids. We watched two baseball games. The kids played together and I got a few pictures.
I work full time and I use Sunday’s to catch up on laundry, go to church, I set my workout plan for the week on YouTube. I also think about what I am going to eat for the week. This afternoon I will be attending a graduation party. I hope to get my cucumbers planted in my pots today. The weather looks wonderful this week.
What do you do on Sunday?
Have a great week!6 -
Glorious sunny day in Wales so I went this morning to the vegetable plot. Rainy days and sun have made weeds and stingy nettles growing taller than me (not difficult 😂) . I've planted potatoes, picked up last leeks, some lettuce and Swiss chard. I feel exhausted now but very proud of myself. I will post my 3 tasks later on.7

Sundays in the summer we are usually enjoying a lazy day followed by commuting home from our trailer at the lake (just 1.5 hrs north of home). Then we try to get ourselves as organized as possible for the work week. When the trailer is closed for the winter, we usually drive to the mountains for a hike or snowshoe in the winter. It's lovely.4

Sundays are relaxed days for us. Today we had a family Skype with our daughters and 3 adult grandkids. We are planning a trip to Oxford at the end of July for granddaughter’s graduation. She got her doctorate in April. We will travel to England on the ferry.3 -
Sundays are generally the same as most other days. We try to do our outings and travels mid-week unless we're meeting up with one of our kids. Since they have to work, we'll time things over the weekend if we visit them or they visit us.
There are so many wonderful places nearby to go hiking and do things (ocean, bay, redwoods, mountains), but they are so crowded on the weekends and traffic around these parts is atrocious so we really have to plan.3 -

Oftentimes Sunday is a day to either relax or catch up on things we need to do. Today was a day to catch up on about 35 years of acumalting things since we have lived here and have put off taking the time getting rid of things we didn´t need. Because we live in the country, we have just been making huge piles to go to recycling, Goodwill, or the dump later this week.
I did have two hours of Spanish lessons as I usually do-- conversation practice with a Colombian young man and a Venezuelan young woman. Lessons don´t sound very fun but having conversations by Zoom and watching telenovelas and movies with South Americans definitely is still my favorite hobby.

I'm excited to be back on MFP and in this group. It's literally been years. I'm tired of trying to fight this battle with no tools. I'm also looking for a group on MFP that logs their weights weekly, if anyone knows one that is taking new members.

Pass Day but got 9,400 steps in! Eating was all healthy, but possibly a bit too much. The scale will let me know!
My veggie prep has been going strong now daily for 3 weeks. It’s wonderful!
I have some sticky notes on the inside of the door of our pantry that were notes I wrote summer of 2018 as I battled down the last 10 lbs. I’d actually forgotten them until some friends spotted them pre-COVID
So I was in the cupboard tonight grazing on nuts… thus the Pass Day
& I looked over. I’d used one really large sticky note. “YAY!!!” It exclaimed “You DID IT! AUGUST 30, 2018 159.4. & (the BMI which I forget at the moment) but under 24.9
Well I’ve been fighting a couple of pounds recently. Scale this morning 162.2.
As I nibbled on another untracked pecan half, I thought about this. Oh yeah Aug 30th. I always shoot to be at or under 159.4.
Hmm that’s 2.8lbs. I bet that’s about 100 days from now. Checked Alexa: Exactly 100 days!!!!
So, I plan to be at or under 159.4 on August 30, 2022. I tend to gain weight in summer, so this will take some effort.
I’m very proud to have maintained, but I don’t want my weight to creep up.
I’m actually excited. A reasonable goal that will make me feel great.
I had been telling myself I should lose 12 more lbs. Seeing that sticky note, I thought, no, just get to 159.4. That’s a huge accomplishment, and I felt my motivation coming back ♥️5 -
Another pass day. I was feeling better, and got up early to exercise - 15 minutes MommaStrong. But I had not planned the day and I did not track anything.
I like to have one adventure day in the weekend and one stay home and organize day. Lately the balance has been off with too much fun/fun recovery rather than organizing, and it is stressing me out a bit though I am enjoying the fun.
Yesterday my daughter and I went to my daughter's school friend's house. It was very hot here. They have a lake and a boat and it was delightful. Then we went out to ice cream. And I forgot to bring my daughter's medicine and if she doesn't take it in the afternoon she has rebound insomnia. So she was up half the night. Fortunately my wife stayed up with her because as I mentioned in the sleep post I really can't handle missing sleep. But I was up for a bit feeling guilty.2 -

✅ Lovely 70+ minute after supper walk with Beauregard and my husband. The water on the creek was like glass — no breeze, no rain, no turbulence. We took a path new to me and it was so peaceful and quiet. We couldn’t see another house, car, or person. I love that we have the park system in our city. That it is steps from our front door (which is also a ten minute walk to downtown).
✅ Tracked it all
✅ Under total calories

Welcome back @MadDuck62! There is a challenge group that logs their weekly weight with monthly goals. It's pretty low key - feel free to join any time. https://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/discussion/10863087/may-2022-weight-loss-challenge#latest

@MadDuck62
I belong to another good group that logs weight weekly. I just sent the admins a message asking if they want more people (I joined at the first of the year when they were seeking new members and I am not sure about their usual process of joining.) If I haven´t got back to you within a couple days, can you send me a message to communicate with you? That would mean that I forgot your user name and couldn´t find your post again to let you know what they said.1 -

I'm catching up with a couple of missed days.
Bike ride and swimming again today, but no tracking of food intake.
When I'm at home Sunday is the day I cook lunch for me and boyfriend and sometimes mum.
Weekends are also a time for seeing family with grandchildren.2
