I have a few cookbooks, but generally use some online sources - generally websites. My challenge is that I want food prep to be simple. It shouldn’t be a lot of steps, and it should use ingredients I have on hand. Too many recipes seem to call for spices or ingredients I don’t keep on hand, so I’ve stopped buying them.0

I own a number of cookbooks and some of them contain recipes that I have used often because I can never remember if its supposed to be a teaspoon or tablespoon of an ingedient, or if it should 15 minutes at 400 degrees, or 20 minutes at 350 etc.
I have not bought a new cookbook in a number of years however because I find it easier to just use the internet. No matter if I am on the WW app or just googling something like "instapot risotto recipe" Its just easier and faster than thumbing through a cookbook to find what I want0 -
My wife uses a lot of cookbooks, but I don't really use them. I tend to get recipes from random websites. For example, there was a great lightened version of General Tso's Chicken from the Men's Health site that I love (https://www.menshealth.com/nutrition/a19525599/cook-healthier-general-tso-s-chicken/). My falafal, pita, shakshuka, khachapuri recipes were all found on-line. Same thing for most of my beer recipes!0

I do have many cookbooks, and I occasionally use them. But, honestly, much of the time, I am repeating something I have cooked often - or - I am attempting to replicate a recipe I've seen on a YouTube food channel, making it my own in the process.0

I have many cookbooks, including my mother's, but usually rely on my tried and true in my computer's Food folder, in folders by main ingredient. All are WW friendly, and stuff we like to eat.0

We do have cookbooks but DW does 90° of the cooking and knows what we need to eat ingredient wise. When called upon I get recipes from. an app called All Recipes.
Also I agree with what Charlie says.0
