My first update will be here on Sunday August 7th. Then I will also set my goal for Christmas.
I weigh in daily and report weekly averages in kilo's.
I started MFP in September 2021 with a first average of 95.0 kg
And this is what my updates will look like:

@poodiebeer Great overview and preparation! Just so I understand how this works (only my second challenge here): can you actually edit this same post every week? So everybody has one post that updates every week? I saw other threads where everybody kept copying these lengthy posts each week, so it took al lot of time scrolling to keep track of everybody...0

@poodiebeer i admire your confidence that you will lose ever week.
I have a heroic goal like that but will find it just a bit overwhelming to look at the first week I do all the right things and the scale doesn’t play ball.

Thanks, @poodiebeer for explaining! Shall we then just post past and current updates and not future empty lines? It will be easier to track each other and support if you don't have to scroll to pages of empty lines, especially in the first weeks!0 -
My August 1st weight is 98.1 kg. Now that's a start!
I'll be reporting weekly averages from now on, but at least I now know it will not be > 100 kg which I feared.

My Monday win before breakfast was 144 lb. 65.3 kg2

My starting weight (8/1/2022) is 182.6 lbs or 82.83 kg!
I don't have any idea what I intend on losing, just as much as realistically possible. I want to try to weigh in weekly, but I'm not going to be frustrated if I miss a week of weighing in. Consistency is key!2 -
And here we go, my first weekly update withstart weight. I do average of whole week (7 days)
Ik have set my goal on 89.9 kg by Christmas.
Week 0 (August 7): 97.9 kg (8.0 kg to to achieve goal within 20 weeks: 0.4 kg/week)
Not a bad start! Three weeks of Summer vacation did not make me gain a lot, I had a good first week, and the goal of 0.4 kg/week weight loss seems realistic as I did that before losing 4 kg. Looking forward to coming week 😀

This isn't as much as I was hoping for, but that's alright. I'm glad that I'm losing, I just need to stick with it!2 -

Week 0 (August 7): 97.9 kg (start weight)
Week 1 (August 14): 97.2 kg (lost 0.7 kg this first week; still 7.3 kg to go within 19 weeks: 0.38 kg/week)
That was a good first week. Losing 0.7 kg in a week is always nice. Did struggle a lot with late evening hungryness though, need to find more satifying diner to prevent that. And heat wave is making long outdoor excercizes hard, but wave will be over soon.1 -

Again, this isn't as much as I was hoping for, but I'm really impressed, considering I am currently on my period and bloaty! I have dinner tonight with my grandparents, fingers crossed I can handle temptation!2 -

Not as much progress as I hoped this week, and not sure why because I stuck to meal plan quite OK. But: still on schedule for Christmas . Will get in some extra exercise done today.1 -

No loss this week at all. Not sure what happened. Did not manage to log food very well because of very hectic work week. Challenging week ahead with a lot of meetings with meals and drinks. Did do some extra exercise today though!0 -

Happy to keep losing weight. Little bit less loss this week than expected: weird outlier today of full kg higher than yesterday. Anyway: feeling good! 😀1 -

Good start of the week, with low numbers. Challenging end with many social events and tiredness, ending op losing “only” 0.3 kg. On the other hand: still going down steadily!0 -

Now that was a super-busy week, with lots of challennges in terms of work related festivities. And lots of stress so stopped logging food. Another such week ahead, will try to not go all out on everything and get back on track soon after!1 -

Week 9 (October 9): 96.4 kg
==> lost 1.5 kg in total, average 0.17 kg/week
==> Still 6.5 kg to go within 12 weeks: 0.54 kg/week
Challenging 2 weeks, including 2 conferences abroad with all social activities (drinks, dinners) that go with it. Coming 3 weeks are a lot more quiet, so plan is to get back on tract and go towards 94 kg by the beginning of November.1 -

Sept 25: 173.5 lbs (78.7 kg) Starting Weight
Oct 9: 168.8 lbs (76.6 kg)
Oct 16: 166 lbs (75.3 kg)
Loss this week: 2.8 lbs (1.3 kg)
Total loss since Sept 25: 7.5 lbs (3.4 kg)
Avg loss/week (3 weeks): 2.5 lbs (1.13 kg)
Lbs/kg to go: 16 lbs (7.3 kg)
Avg loss/week needed to reach goal (10 weeks): 1.6 lbs (.73 kg)
Weight loss is always easier the first few weeks. I realize I’ve set an aggressive goal and it will become increasingly difficult to hit that .73 kg/week. But it’s doable and I’ve committed to the task and to a lifestyle that’s working for me. Whole foods, mostly plant based. Seems that many highly processed foods don’t agree with me. Plus, I’m able to eat quite a bit and still remain within my calorie goals.
