    Steps: 4,428
    Exercise: 5/5

    Steps are better than I thought. I am sure if I didn’t use the walker yesterday I would have well over 10,000 steps as we were moving around a lot. I think we spent a total of 6.5 hours in the car driving yesterday. I am off to meet my son for breakfast. I am very sore and tired today so I am not sure about the pool. Catch up on post when I get home.

    Hi friends!

    Sunday Check-in (August 7)
    PW: 290.0 lbs
    CW: 291.6 lbs

    Opps! Sorry team. Vacation last week. You know what they say “Any vacation you come home from needing a vacation, was a good vacation.” And ours was good. Lots of sun, sand, water, hiking, etc. unfortunately, lots of ice cream shops, bistro bars, and pizza, too! We are back now and I’m getting back on track.

    Awesome loss! Whatever you did, it’s working. Walking is great exercise. Before I had to stop, walking was my only form of exercise. What else are you thinking of adding?

    @lindamtuck2018 thanks, i would like to do more strength training. When i lost weight before (8 years ago) i focused only on cardio and ended up looking terrible (loose skin, boobs disappeared, wrinkles ect it wasn't good) so this time around, since i have another chance i will try more strength training and eat more protein to see if i can avoid this happening again

    I'm feeling awful today! A year ago I attended a party and someone took a photo of me which started my diet! A year later and 65lb lighter I went to the same gathering feeling really proud of myself and feeling super slim (for me). Today I saw a photo someone took and I look just as fat! Not sure if I feel totally demotivated or really motivated to carry on!ik1hq2f7gooc.jpg

    It’s a new week so you have a clean slate.

    @rwillems
    Glad you had a good vacation.

    @laura9400
    I hope you are feeling better!

    @aneedlecraft
    You are doing great with your steps. I think you were looking into swimming. Any luck finding a place?

    @cormierannie
    Nice loss!

    @Eatthefruitnotthecake78
    Strength training is a great plan. I can’t do traditional weights but I do strength exercises in the pool with my water weights and my pool noodle. I find you feel so good after a strength training session.

    @JaysFan82
    Fantastic loss! You are insane playing baseball in that weather. It was 42C with the humidity here in London. That’s well into the 100’s. It’s a wonder you didn’t melt.

    @rwood566
    Congratulations on your 10 mile walk. It’s amazing how far you have come.

    @mari_moulin
    I have marked you excused. Enjoy your week away.

    @fatfifties
    Awesome loss! Look at what you have done in a year: lost 65 pounds and had to take your dress in 8 inches . I can’t really see the second picture as it’s small but they are taken at 2 different angles. Angles make a difference. I really like that dress by the way. Did you take any progress pictures or measurements when you started? If not take them today. Take it standing up and in a pants. I never took progress pictures and I regret it. Also, it’s amazing how good we can feel until we stand on the scales or see a picture. Focus on how you felt and what you accomplished.

    @NanElisaP
    I hope you are recovering quickly from the Covid.
