Well, holding my own here. No--actually, I think I've seen a little progress. This is actually my high weight for the last week. It has bounced around between 129.2 and 130.0. I only hope that I can hold it here until we get back from hubby's reunion. Two days on the road, four days eating out, fewer days with my walking buddy, etc. are going to make things tough.
Today, I won't get walk with my walking buddy and I will also be eating dinner out because we have friends coming in from NC. They are not staying with us, but we want to spend some time with them. So add today to my list of hurdles.
Here are my 7-day averages from last week:
Steps = 11,996
Kcals burned = 1,745
Stairs = 15
My one and only goal for this coming week is to just be as active as I can be given the circumstances and try to eat healthy and get back here still weighing 130. If I can just not gain, it will be a victory.
I have only a minute to be online, but hope to have time to check back in before bedtime. I wanted to go ahead and start the week's thread before the day got away from me.

A little progress for me as well. Sorry to miss posting yesterday. . I might be better to change my weigh in day to Thursdays because my Wednesdays are typically too busy.
Congratulations on your great progress Sarah!! You're so awesome with your continued dedication. You're an inspiration to me to get more focused! I'm going to try to get my stats up. I appreciate your comments last week . . it was a tough and emotional week for me, but I'm feeling better this week. I had my trainer on Monday, and went to an aerobics class Tuesday, had her again today, and followed up with a 1.5 mile walk. (I always feel less sore when I do a walk after weight training.)
We have a memorial this weekend in Boise, so we'll drive up on Saturday and stay overnight for the service Sunday morning. Then, the following week we have a big trip to Las Vegas, Disneyland, and then
Laguna Beach for a few days. So . . . I'm feeling very nervous about being able to maintain. But, I'm going to try really hard! I'm planning to do a lot of walking, so hopefully that will help.

Sheesh - I was thinking about what you said about selling the cabin and feelings. Hugs to you! Your upcoming trip sounds amazing. Do you think I can fit in your snack bag for Disneyland? Or even Latina beach??
I’m posting on my phone so please forgive that it will be short and a bit self centered. Had my Ortho follow up today. Sucked!!! Doc not happy at the amount of steri strips used and had the nurse come in and remove them. PAIN. Then he’s looking at the incision and he doesn’t like something. Ugh. Ok so he was the PA and he brought back the surgeon. Now I have to make an appt for sleep apnea test and possible Capp machine again. Apparently those with sleep apnea the feet and legs don’t get enough blood and oxygen so it doesn’t heal. My primary is out of the country u til NOVEMBER. And he’s changing practice to boot. So I’ve reached out to my back up and am waiting to hear back for an appt. Then I have a wound care therapy something where they have to clean the wound and possibly debride!! As if I haven’t had enough pain. Hubby is out of town Tuesday morning and I have Audrey staying tues and we might but now I have to find rides to wound care for Thursday afternoon and doc follow up on Friday. And I have to see the doc every week for next 4 weeks. If it didn’t heal? Plastic surgery referral. And hubby scheduled his surgery for dec 14. As if we need me to possibly need another dang surgery. Anyhow. I’ve been in tears and super depressed today. Percocet runs out in 3 days. Went to pain management place. Took their drug test now waiting for them to clear me and issue new rx. It doesn’t look like I’ll be off them for a wee bit longer. This just sucks. I can bring to our weight on my foot - but the incision pains are still there as well. So this just sucks. Still recliner bound.0 -
Currently 175, I am happy with that given I have been up lately because of the stress going on. I can see that I am moving in the right direction though and that makes me happy. I am currently living alone now and have 50/50 for my children. I really miss them and they cry when they are not with me. I have to remember though that this decision was made because I do not want them thinking that men should treat women as their father does. We will get through this.
Sarah, way to go staying consistent. It is very motivating to see that.
Lastchance- Goodness girl you are really going through the ringer on that. I am praying for you to heal sooner rather than later. That sounds like so much to be going through. I hope that you are doing something while chair bound that brings you joy.
Sheesh- it sounds like you have super fun times coming your way. Remember a little weight gain is worth making those memories

Well, we came back from Hubby's HS reunion a day early, arriving home late yesterday afternoon. There was a change of plans because he filled his day-to-day pillbox and then, instead of putting it in his luggage, he put it away, and so he got there with no meds. And although we pay a concierge fee for our docs so we can reach them 24-7, neither of us had the after-hours number plugged into our cell phone! So although their CVS could find him in the system, they could not fill scripts because he had just picked up the last refills before his next appointment at the end of the month!
The doc did call us on Sunday morning (responding to a message he left on the regular office line), but by then we had already cancelled our reservation for Sunday evening and had the car packed. So we just came home a day early. And that may be a good thing for me weight-wise because it was hard to find decent food in this very small town, and I found myself just stirring in what I ordered in restaurants, and then snacking in the hotel! So long story short, the scale was up a pound this morning. Hopefully, I can shed it over the next few days.
There were some good aspects to the trip, though. Hubby really enjoyed seeing his old classmates and we got to see some beautiful fall trees. The trees here are still mostly green. Our fall season is coming later in recent year.
Well, have to make a to-do list and get moving. Katie, I love your positive attitude and I think it will lead you to achieving your goals with health and fitness and just overall happiness. Lois, hope the foot is doing better. Sheesh, two trainer sessions and an aerobic class is great! I do envy your muscle strength. I would do aerobics, but I'm just too much entertainment for the other people. I put "not graceful at all" in a whole new category!0 -
Kelly, thinking of you and Shawn, too, and hoping you are both fully recovered from Covid and have no lingering effects. Meant to add to my earlier post but my brain is not fully engaged today. I've spent the last hour looking for the birthday cards I bought two weeks ago. I know I had them on Friday before we left here . . . You and my sister share a birthday that is coming up!0
