Today's Topic: Thanksgiving Weekend Plans

No deep, philosophical question today.

How do you plan to spend the Thanksgiving weekend?

    Flu shot today. Attending Thanksgiving with family and friends at a friend's house tomorrow. No Black Friday plans. Optometrist on Saturday. Sunday has not been determined.

    I plan to spend “Thanksgiving”, but the weekend should be my default weekend. We're not traveling, and since we’re renovating a kitchen next month, it’s time to start the process of packing away all the stuff in the cabinets. Gotta buy boxes, more packing paper, tape, etc. Also need to start creating some “frozen dinners” for ourselves so we don’t eat every evening meal out. (My beer fridge is gonna be our only fridge for a while.) That means I’ll need to start some grocery shopping to get started on meal prep.

    Going to our oldest son's for dinner with his wife and our youngest son. We're bringing home cooked brownies (my Kryptonite). Other than that, no real plans.

    Dinner at my Sons in Charlotte today heading right home on Friday because we need to head up to Long Island on Sunday to attend a friends funeral on Monday, Hectic weekend!

    Having Thanksgiving in Atlanta doing some caregiving with DW'S elderly 1st Cousin who needs 24 hour care. Sitter will be back sound 8pm then we're off to our home 1 hour away. So will be in late tonight.

    We're having a prebought rotisserie chicken, boiled squash with some cheese on it and I'm having some rice. Then!!! We're having some Apple Pie ala mode!
