Today's Topic: Analyzing Your Thanksgiving Performance

Turkey Day has come and gone. Black Friday and Cyber Monday have come and gone. The four-day weekend has come and gone.

Now, looking back on all of that from a healthy lifestyle perspective, how did you perform? Good portion control? Maybe a little over indulgence? Bad on Thanksgiving, but good during the weekend. Or, as in my case - good on Thanksgiving, fell apart on the weekend. Enough exercise and activity? Or, some serious snoozing in front of the tube?

On a scale of 1-10, how'd you do?

    I'll give myself a 5 out of 10.

I did very well on Thanksgiving Day, itself. But, I blew the weekend...mainly due to overindulgence on leftovers. Stuffing, especially. I love stuffing. I did get some movement in, however. So, I'll give myself that.

I'd give myself a 10, because I did what I planned. To be fair, I planned to eat as much as I wanted (and more) at the actual Thanksgiving meal, and planned to snack and have alcohol while my family visitors were here. I also planned to exercise, which I kept up with too.

The real trick, at this point, is to get back to where I should be during normal/non-holiday times!
