I had an oral surgery last week. I am supposed to take it easy for two weeks and keep heart rate low - below fat burning rate. Today I did my first workout in a week: 15 minutes of STRETCHING. All down on the floor.
I barely kept my 10K average for the week but I am already stronger this week and moving around more. I was hoping to lose some weight because of limited food intake for a couple of days. But I guess water retention from surgery-related shock and painkillers had greater impact than fewer calories.
The other thing I am doing is switching to more plant-based diet. I would not describe myself as a vegetarian or vegan, not even planning to become - just limiting animal foods.
Because I need to stay on soft foods for a while, I am experimenting with different kinds of smoothies, for example "orange" smoothie - for the color, not necessarily the fruit, with pumpkin puree, carrot, peach and one day - an orange! I am working on including more vegetables not fruits only. Well, yes, I am having quite a lot of fun with that!4 -

I took an excused last week because I was traveling. Husband and I took a few days off and went on a wine tour with friends. So wine and eating out. BUT those steps are all wine tour. I guess wine is good for something.

Two of our three walkers with goals met them on average! They are bolded, as usual. I want to give a shout-out to our third goal walker, too. @9Harvey might not have hit goal, every week their steps have increased this month. That's fantastic progress.
Even with a slight drop, we are still over half a million steps for the week! And we will break 2 MILLION steps this month! Way to go!!
And a silly shout-out to me, because I noticed I put standard deviation in instead of averages BEFORE I posted... apparently I am still tired.

My weight is definitely going in the wrong direction. We did eat out a lot this week. My husband's cousin passed away. We knew it was coming so we went down to see him and then all the services. So it was a lot of eating out and drinking. Hopefully I can get it under control because I do not want to see 200 pounds. I'm looking to book a cruise and do not want to weigh thay much for vacation. Sorry I also forgot to post my steps for the week. I couldn't remember if I had with the craziness of the week. I also have to go away for work this weekend and I am missing my grandsons first birthday, im so sad.5

I pulled out the tape measure yesterday for the first time in 2 months. I'd been holding off since I've only lost about 3.5 lbs since the last time I measured. I was pleasantly surprised that I lost another inch from my waist, an inch from my hips, half an inch from my bust, and half an inch from each thigh. Just keep going......4 -

I got some muscle strain at the beginning of the week and took it easy then, on Thursday evening I ate something bad 💩 and wasn't up for anything yesterday. Back to it now!
One thing, since I've been doing squats regularly, I've noticed that going up stairs isn't so strenuous and, probably because of an increase in walking and other exercises too, I'm not so puffed out. I've begun to take the stairs up to my flat again instead of the lift - unless I've got heavy bags of shopping.3 -

Good Morning Team Weight No More. I am back from vacation. The weather was great. We visited Fort Myers and Fort Lauderdale. The time spent with the Florida part of my family was great. Spent some real quality time with my Granddaughter and Son. I ate what I wanted. I lived life. And now I am back home living life. I will eat more healthy at home, I always do. And that is ok. I may have gained some weight. Friday will tell. I just know I feel great. Pain is high, that is to be expected. But things will settle down as I start eating my normal diet again.
It is just one thing. I can do one thing.
My one thing today is to do my neck and shoulder stretches.
