Good morning Team Weight No More. I am pleased with the small gain! I ate a lot of not so healthy food on my vacation. And I was also very active. Gaining a half pound after a week of vacation is not a bad deal. I did the stretching program 4 times this week and I have walked for at least 30 minutes every day. Tonight is date night with the hubby. My goal is to have an on plan, on track weekend. That means today with the added calories from the beer (I usually have two or three) My goal is under 1800 calories (my maintenance number). Saturday and Sunday are below 1350 calories (my weight loss number).
What are your weekend plans? Lets brainstorm ways we can have a successful weekend. I'll start.
I will fill my water jug first thing in the morning, just like it was a week day.

Im not sure how this happens but somehow I was able to drop five pounds this week. I suppose the gain last week was from too much salt and I was retaining a lot of water.4 -

Very frustrating. I didn't do anything different over the past week but gained anyway. I'm guessing water weight, although I really didn't have any high sodium days.
Even though my body seems to want me to stay around 162 I'm not giving up!

March Week Five - Friday Weigh Day

Loss to Date: 60.2 lbs
I have been bloated quite a bit this week, so this was a very friendly sight to see on the scale. Sometimes it's weird to think that, four years ago, I was 15 lbs lighter, but I'm absolutely happier and healthier right now. Much more of my weight is muscle, I'm stronger, my skin is clearer, my mood is better, and (most days) I'm pretty happy with my appearance. I'm going to be baking quite a bit today, so wish me luck on not eating absolutely everything.3 -

Completely shocked but I have felt super bloated all week (I'm on meds for an IUI) so that has something to do with my weight today. I've been very nauseous all week so I've eaten a lot less. Ugh I just don't like seeing such a high number3 -

It was a good week for me this week. I've been slacking off on logging my food, but I've still been trying to make good choices. I need to get back to logging my food. Even though I had a good outcome this week, when I don't log, it is easy to get off track.3 -

This week I did a lot better with more water, more veg. I'm not sure about less junk. Did some garden work this morning and then visited the botanical garden.

I took a no weigh in option this week due to major bloating. I feel like March was my trial run to try what works and what doesn’t. I usually tend to do well towards the beginning of June with walking/biking because my schedule frees up a lot more. It gets tricky when things get busy during the rest of the academic year. So, my goal for April is to jumpstart regular workout sessions (as opposed to sporadic ones) use some of my lunch hours for walking, and even ask other teachers to join me. Eating has been better since I’ve been following a gluten free diet. But still no weight loss. I think this is attributed to stress, and of course lack of consistency. Not giving up!

Well, ugh. I didn't do much different than the previous week so I'm not sure what that 2 pound weight gain was about - bloating, I guess. I'll just keep at it. I'm getting on a plane back to the US tonight and traveling a bit the next couple weeks. So I might need to take a little break from weigh ins, but I will definitely be back. Keep up the good work, team!
