Happy last day of April!!!
Looking forward to May with SO many of you which is exciting. https://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/group/144812-ultimate-accountability-challenge-may-2023 All of the volunteer shifts have been picked up for May — thank you everyone! 😊🤗
You can find the “promo” for our May challenge at https://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/discussion/10889482/ultimate-accountability-challenge-may-2023 Thank you to @jmu1965 @SummerSkier (for your post and the second “bump” posting!) @terririchardson112 @snowshoe072 @jana_2020 for your posts.
Posts in response to the promo boost the placement of our challenge to reach more people.[/b] Please take a moment to leave a few lines there? Due to the supportive posts, we have kept on the first page of the list of challenges. AND — one of our previous members saw it on that first page and has rejoined! 🔝🔝🔝
I’m making a list, and checking it twice…. 🎶🎵🎶 … of Winners or Champions for April. Thank you so much for making such clear special note yesterday. We don’t want to miss anyone, please note again today if you have any changes or if you haven’t done so yet. Thank you!
And the most important question of the day — for those of us on Apple Watch — did you get your International Dance Day
Challenge Badge yesterday? I did!

The last day of the month is typically a desert of posts! Let's challenge ourselves to make it full of inspiration and April success stories!
I am going to pre post ✅✅✅ 💪💪💪 for today.
What did I accomplish in April? I did a running streak of running every day for over 140 miles total beating my challenge to myself of 120 miles (4 miles per day avg). I did have 2 "bingy days" and one over day making which is not my best month ever but I am finishing strong with 10 days right on track in spite of some challenges. I played tennis 6 times and given we had almost 4.5" of rain i feel pretty good about that even if it fell short of the 2x per week or 3x per week I started the month wanting.3 -
I won't be able to count everything today - it's our 35th wedding anniversary, and we are going out to dinner at "our special place" (even pre-covid, we only ever went out maybe 3 times a year) Even if I ate NOTHING else all day, the meal would be over - so this date has ALWAYS been an annual Planned Pass Day.
I fully expect to at LEAST get the requisite exercise / personal step goal in. Will post final results when done.7 -
✅✅✅
1️⃣ pass day left
I will be in Winners Circle
Too many good things in April to list them, but I suppose that‘s all because of an attitude of gratitude3 -
It is already May where I live!
Exercised?: ✅ Yes
Calories?: ✅ Yes
Tracked?: ✅ Yes
Pass days used: 5/3
I will be a Champion!
Although I have more than 3 pass days, most of those were only a little (100-200kcal) over calorie goal, not full on cheat days. And it is an improvement as well comparing to previous months. Lets see if I can do May with even less
Some changes in the last months:
Pass days: Feb 13, March 6, April 5 (I started this challenge in February the first time)
Average step count per day: Jan 5726, Feb 8748, March 8953, April 9782
Have lost at least 5 kg the last two months.

@SummerSkier you're such an inspiration! I had such a big smile when I read your post! Congrats on surpassing your goal! ✅💪 is right!!
I'm not a runner, but you've certainly inspired me to set a goal to WALK every single day in May and I'm going to shoot for 75 miles! THANK YOU!
Today, after church, the ladies all gathered for a Lavender Ladies Tea Party! There were over 100 ladies in attendance, and I won a beautiful gift basket for having the best decorated hat (which I made myself!) We had tea and croissants, and little mini quiches, and some other sweet things that I stayed far away from! Lol. It made it hard to count calories, so I estimated to the best of my ability..... but it was a beautiful affair, and a great turnout.6 -

I am a Champion and got through my surgery very well, although the travel and my preoccupation with it was the reason for so many pass days. I maintained my weight through the month and ate in a very healthy manner, so I am pleased with it. My level of energy is better some days and not better other days, but I am sleeping much better, have less anxiety, less urinary symptoms, less GI symptoms, so I am hopeful. Yesterday was the first day able to swim again, so I hope to swim alot next month.

Celebrated a 5th birthday for my granddaughter Axana today. I enjoyed pizza, salad, breadsticks and cake and ice cream.
At the beginning of the month I was dealing with stomach issues. I figured out a few things that were causing me pain. My weight is about the same as the beginning of the month.

Today 30th:
C:😕 E✅: 25 mins of exergame (not enough "unintentional movement" walking about to get up to Fitbit daily steps target) T:😕
Month-long Score (3x✅=💖 for that day) vs Pass ( 😕 ) record.

😕-😕-😕-💖-💖-💖-💖-😕-💖-💖
💖-😕-💖-😕-😕-😕-😕-😕-😕-🍰 (as mentioned above a PLANNED Pass Day. Prime rib (brought ~ 1/3 of it home). Left maybe 1/3 of the dessert on the plate. The dessert alone (if eaten in full) would have been MOST of a full day's calories all by itself)
I am a Champion for getting all days reported in.

I am not a Winner or a Champion, but I accomplished my April goal. My average monthly weight is 2 lbs lower than it was in March!
On to May… planning to lose at least 1 pound.
(1.8 lbs to go)

4/19/2023 - Lost my mind. Dinner was leftovers with controlled portions. Just wasn't satisfied, and then I lost my mind. First a 130 calorie bag of pistachio's. Nope - that didn't do it..2 cups of skinny popcorn ....salt is satisfied.... now want candy. 3 pieces of candy (like a turtle). Ok done...Yikes3 -
@itladyee You. Are. Awesome. Way to go on harnessing your good habits, keeping accountable, and your success! 🥳🥳🥳 you must feel great! 🥰3

Looking back over April – what did I achieve?
My weight dropped just below my goal and is hovering at the lower of my preferred maintenance range. However, this is really a side effect of a boring social life – I cancelled two planned holidays because of my arthritis and hoping for a hip op. I did manage a couple of days out but mostly I stayed home, trying to keep up with exercise to keep fit and healthy for this op (when I finally get it!)
Roll on May.
Exercise – yes
Tracked – yes
Calories – yes
2 pass days.
I am a Winner this month!

Absolutely fantastic Sarah!!!! Getting all theee habits lined up at the same time on the same day isn’t as easy as it sounds and truly takes time. But that attention to healthy habits causes lifelong well being. Proud of you! ☺️ @brisingr86 🦹♀️ Losing a couple of pounds — woo hoo!!!! That must feel great! Keep on keeping on…2
