    WITW is MommaMoody?

Good luck with final preps for Boys State, Dennis!

How'd your meetings end up w/ contractors, SGM?

Mary - I'd love to hit the lake property and disconnect from everything/everyone for about two solid weeks with just me and #mothertucker!

Open house at dealer was swanky. Me and my friend were way underdressed (golf shorts and golf polo's) and saddened that it was wine and champagne only. No miller lite!

DF arrives this afternoon - assuming all flights on East Coast are not delayed due to the hazy conditions. It was eerie here yesterday (not as bad as NYC - but still like a thick fog).

    Cheers,
    Skipper

    Good morning.

Some of those pictures from New York were nuts, Skip. No beer? Now you have me thinking Land Rover on the new whip.

Mom is back in the hospital after a bizarre day yesterday. Neuro/psych evaluation is supposed to be done today. We've been asking for it for months because you can't get extra help without a diagnosis.

    Morning BBB

We are settled in to Ohio. Have found all nearby trails, bike shops and grocery stores. We biked about 20 miles yesterday mostly on the Ohio Erie trail then a stop to Aldi on the way home. That was a lot before lunch. My biking legs aren't back yet.

Today probably similar but may go to the hoover dam trail.

We just realized our drivers license expire on our birthdays in 2024. In order to renew in South Dakota we must spend one night there and have a receipt to prove it. Should have worked a night in on this last trip to nebraska. Now it's going to be a PITA. We might move our residence to Texas or Florida...also nomad friendly and easier to get to. We do have a week free in September but don't have plans yet for next Spring but don't necessarily plan to return to the states

    Good morning BBB friends.

Sorry to hear about your mom, Lou. I hope the evaluation produces something helpful.

Heavy smoke and haze is an annual occurrence out here, every September as western and Canadian forests burn. Of course, this isn't the East Coast, so it doesn't get publicized as much.

The carpenters worked all day, yesterday, and will be back to finish, today. A couple areas don't look right, so I will cancel a doctor's appointment so I can talk to the head carpenter. They installed a new door in back, but there is now a 1/2-inch gap all the way around the casing. That is a bit much for normal caulking to fill, and Rita has been wringing her hands about it since last night.

    Good morning

Lou, hopefully your Mom will get the help she needs!

Skip, come hang out at the lake with us! Not the Ritz but we have beer and Bourbon.

Hopefully Dave sets his workers on the right track to fix it!

Hope Dennis has a good Boys State week!

Ive already been to the hoa pond and back this morning, trimming the knockout rose shrubs in the landscape. Need to tend to mine now as well.

    Have a great day BBB

    Good morning BBB Friends.
    • Last minute prep and packing and the air conditioner is on the fritz. Whoever said Lennox is a good brand made a huge mistake in my book.
    • Good luck with your DM Lou.
    • Sounds like a fancy dealership Skip. What brand was that again? B)
    • I thought the Hoover Dam was in..., never mind.
    • I need to make a trip to North Dakota Steph. Only state I've never been to.

Ugh - don't tell me that, Dennis!

We had Lennox at last hood too - both failed a month apart from each other! New hood has Lennox so presume its on the clock for failure (likely at the most inopportune time)!

Steph - that sucks. What a PITA. Hope you figure out path of least resistance. With REAL/ID - it's bound to be something more difficult than easy!

Mary, I have a small 2 cycle tiller to help keep weed out, as garden grows will put wood mulch down to keep moisture in and weeks out then turn into soil mid-winter.
No beer, and you are going to spend money there?
Hope doctors come through for mom Lou,
We have been trying to get paperwork completed for DMIL where she can move to Madison House she will get required physical Monday and TB test; no one will call us back or complete the paperwork for government supplements.
One night is not bad for several years.

DF flight delayed 90 minutes due to hazy conditions in DC. Oh joy! I'm in a bad mood sitting here. He's going to arrive in a bad mood. Lobby lounge at adjacent hotel to airport fresh out of miller light and offered me a bud light. My day just gets worse and worse! Ugh!

On the bright side. My whip is on its way to VA!
