    In spite of dropping number of walkers, out numbers increased this week! Awesome sauce!!

    We walked more than 2 million steps in May! Can we reach 2.5 million in June!?!

    It figures! After requesting to be moved to the support team for June because I hit a plateau and felt I needed a break after 17 months, i stepped on the scale yesterday to make sure I wasn't gaining and was down 2.6 lbs in 1 week! I think this shows that plateaus aren't always a bad thing.

    Some of you did not weigh in last week, and are now at risk for being dropped from the team. If you would like to avoid this, you have a couple options:
    • Weigh in before Sunday to be considered on time
    • Weigh in after Sunday morning to be considered late
    • Request to be excused for the week and not have to weigh in this week
    • Request to be moved to the support team temporarily
    • Completely ignore this message, take the non-weigh-in for the week, and risk being dropped from the team in the event you get two weeks of non-weigh-ins in a row
    • Request to be dropped from the team

    My Florida trip is going pretty well. There has been a lot of alcohol though. I do drink a lot of water with it and quit drinking way before everyone else. My stomach just can't handle it. Today we were supposed to go kayaking but we changed it to 3 hours of biking. Good thing there will be stops on this ride cuz I'm not sure if I would be able to walk after.

    Oh boy, I've been all over the place this month, and things aren't really going to chill out anytime soon, so here's a quick update on what's been going on, and what's coming up:
    • I cancelled the meal delivery service I was using - Factor was good, but it was expensive, and half of the meals were things I could make myself at less than $10/meal without an issue (also hot meals + summer = not my favorite combo)
    • I was challenged by a coworker to an arm wrestling competition - I'm sure he was joking, but I'm taking it seriously anyway, so now I'm focusing on building more upper body strength
    • I started a personal trainer certification program, so I guess there's a ton of studying in my future
    • I went on a trip for work this past week and ate absolute garbage, resulting in me forgetting to post my weigh-in, and then posting a nearly 2-lb gain this morning
    • I'm leaving for a bachelorette party on Friday, and I am fully expecting to have a bunch of alcohol and cheese and chocolates and all that deliciousness in my body, but at least we're also going on a hike and whitewater rafting, so maybe it will all balance out

    Here's hoping July is less chaotic.
