HOW IT ALL WORKS: The June challenge runs for 4 weeks, from June 4 - July 1. F2F months always start on a Sunday and end on a Saturday, so adjust your calendars!
Everyone weighs in weekly on their chosen day right here in the team chat thread. At the end of each week, the tallies are done to determine the team and individuals with the most weight lost. The best losers are announced with full fanfare every Sunday. The team competition is all in good spirits - may the most losing win!
We also celebrate those small, steady losses. If you lose, however small an amount, you are in the green! At the end of the month, we celebrate everyone who lost at least a bit every week. You are heading steadily towards your goal even if you aren't at the top of the weight loss leaderboard.
To make your weigh-in easy to find for your team Captains, please put it right at the top of a message, and use this format:
Weigh In Day:
PW (Previous Weight):
CW (Current Weight):
If you miss two weigh-ins in a row without asking for a break, you will be dropped from the team, so be sure to inform your team captain if you are traveling, sick, or just need some time off. If you want a break, you can be excused for a week or two, or are moved to the Support Team for as long as you need to. You still participate in the discussions, you can weigh in if you want to, but it will not count in the weekly tally. Don't worry! You can always come back even if you get dropped.
Once you reach your goal weight, you join the Goal Zone. You continue to weigh in every week. If you have 2 weeks above your self-defined goal zone, you go back to the regular team to lose that amount before it builds up. You will have a chance to hone those maintenance skills and stick with your team.
In addition to your own team, there are weekly F2F Full Group CHALLENGES. You can do all or none - it's up to you. Participating adds a lot to your success, so we hope to see you there often! These can involve anything fitness, health, or nutrition - and they’ll get you moving, thinking, and learning about this journey. Check the Announcements section for full group challenges.
Let’s show our fellow challengers some F2F love! Introduce yourselves right away, and let the new month begin!!

Hey all,
I'm a returnee - used to be in this group quite a while ago (hopefully see some familiar faces) and found it really supportive, but left with some personal rubbishness going on and basically piled the pounds on.
So, I'm Shelli, 40s, live in Edinburgh, Scotland with my best mate and our cats. I restarted on here in mid-May, going well so far but the first couple of weeks tend to be reasonably easy for me and then the motivation starts to wane! Before I restarted was the highest I have ever been so changes def need to be made.
Hope we all have a great June5 -

Welcome new team mates.
I'm Tracy, 51 and live in New Hampshire. I have 2 sons, 2 granddaughters and 1 grandson. I am an assistant director in childcare. I was skinny when I was younger then I had kids. I did mange in my 30s to get rid of some weight but then it came back. A few weeks ago my Dr put me on ozempic and it works but the side effects just were not worth it to me so now the weight I lost is creeping back up there. I swore thos week I was going to start getting back up at 4am to workout because I am usually awake anyway, but nope not this week, slept until my alarm went off at 5. I am going to Florida on Thursday, hoping I am not going to do to much damage. We have a 3 hour kayaking tour booked, yikes, I have only been 3 times so it should be interesting.5 -

Hi all! I’m new to the group this month. 😁
I came back to MFP last month after a year away (illness & surgery). Regained weight and need it off me —- gotta work my way back to fit.
I’d lost over 90lbs in 2015 on MFP and kept it off (aside from a few injuries, herniated discs & torn rotator cuff, that sidelined me temporarily). The good news is, I’ve lost the weight before, so I know it can be done🙌✨the tough part has been restarting…it’s frustrating to have to start back at baseline (just walking) after I’d accomplished so much in my previous years of training (fat loss, muscle gain and cardio endurance). I’ll get there again with time and consistency and so will you! 💪💗
🙏🏽 Thank you for your support here…and feel free to friend me! I will support you well🤗7 -
Hey all,
Weigh In Day: Monday
Previous Weight: 223
Current Weight: 220.2
@ljdanny - kayaking sounds fun, though wow, 3 hours! I tend to find on most hols I'm eating more but I'm also more active than usual, so as long as I don't go too nuts it kinda balances out
@i_SWEAT_n_SWEAR - yeah, I'm getting back to it as well after a long break, and while I know I can do it, it also annoys me that I've put it all back on again and have to lol. Still, shall get there!
Not been too bad a week, TOM so makes me much less exercise motivated but have been sticking to my calories eating wise. Was super tempted by takeaway pizza last night though. Had a mini oven one instead to try and stop the craving but was just not the same lol.5 -
Hey everybody! Pardon the lack of intro post this week - I'm at a work conference the next couple days, so I'm completely thrown off my standard routine. The good news is I'm getting a TON of walking in, so at least I've got that on my side. Maybe needing to be in a blazer all day tomorrow and Thursday will mean my body will be working extra hard to cool down and burn off some extraneous calories.
Send me luck, folks. I'll check back in with y'all on Friday5 -

In spite of dropping number of walkers, out numbers increased this week! Awesome sauce!!
We walked more than 2 million steps in May! Can we reach 2.5 million in June!?!
Nice walking!! Keep it up!

It figures! After requesting to be moved to the support team for June because I hit a plateau and felt I needed a break after 17 months, i stepped on the scale yesterday to make sure I wasn't gaining and was down 2.6 lbs in 1 week! I think this shows that plateaus aren't always a bad thing.4

Some of you did not weigh in last week, and are now at risk for being dropped from the team. If you would like to avoid this, you have a couple options:- Weigh in before Sunday to be considered on time
- Weigh in after Sunday morning to be considered late
- Request to be excused for the week and not have to weigh in this week
- Request to be moved to the support team temporarily
- Completely ignore this message, take the non-weigh-in for the week, and risk being dropped from the team in the event you get two weeks of non-weigh-ins in a row
- Request to be dropped from the team

My Florida trip is going pretty well. There has been a lot of alcohol though. I do drink a lot of water with it and quit drinking way before everyone else. My stomach just can't handle it. Today we were supposed to go kayaking but we changed it to 3 hours of biking. Good thing there will be stops on this ride cuz I'm not sure if I would be able to walk after.3
