Today my husband and I celebrated 23 years of marriage. We visited the botanical gardens and walked a lot and the had a lovely dinner out. And we're officially on vacation for the next several days. Not much planned but time off will be wonderful.

I feel like I made a breakthrough this past week. I decided to just set the app down and not plan my meals out. I think I had started to get a little too in my head and just needed to take a step back. This was the first week where I didn't overeat with my portions. I probably went over my calorie limit a few times, but the point is that it was very minimal compared to the usual. I'm going to try to eat a little more balanced/protein focused this week, but going to stick with keeping it more relaxed.

Today is the first day that I've woken up feeling refreshed in such a long time. Perhaps it's because the weather has refreshed the muggy air but that doesn't really account for the past several weeks of doing nothing.
