If you are new and want to join in, by all means, please do - we love to celebrate those losses with you! This is the standard format we try to use for these threads:

Name: (if you'd like to share)

My Numbers:
SW: Starting weight before you lost anything.
CW: Current weight at the beginning of the challenge.
GW: Goal weight for the month (what you would like to weigh at the end of the monthly challenge) Try to keep it realistic and SAFE!
LTGW: Lifetime goal weight ( What you would like to weigh at the end of your weight loss journey)

Weigh-ins: What days you will weigh-in; for example, Fridays
7/7/23 = (Fill out after each weigh-in.)
7/14/23
7/21/23
7/28/23 (final weigh in for the month)
Total WL/G for the month= total weight lost or gained for the month

It was also suggested that we could track our measurements at the beginning of each month to see how we do there, so feel free to add those too this month!

    Hey everyone. I've been ill for ages now but think I'm just coming out of it (still feel pretty bad though). Sorry that nobody posted a challenge for you all last month! Everyone is welcome to start the post for the month if you see nobody's done it :)

    I've got an NHS (I'm in the UK) weight loss support system starting this week so reset my starting weight to today's weight. It's once a week seminars with a personal practitioner to help out. I'll shout if I learn anything I think might be handy to others!

    Might just be you and me this month Kitten! Let's do this thing <3 It looks like I'm off to an amazing start but I was this light month before last. Just pointing that out, it's not as amazing as it sounds haha. Still I did have a good week foodwise and did some exercise for once! I do need to drink more water still though haha!

    Had my 12th wedding anniversary this weekend so maintaining was my goal this week. +1 is fine I'll take that. Going to have another good week now ^_^ (I do appreciate I might be talking to myself at this point lol)

    Hi, hope it's not too late to join. I was doing a weight loss challenge with another group, but this kind of seems like the group that is more my jam.

    I'm 37 (almost 38) and 5'4". I've had my ups and downs but, I'm trying to get back on track. I made some progress previously, but I had to take some time out for some health reasons. Finally got things sorted out so I can start this journey again. July 1st was my first weigh in since so....here we go!

    My Numbers:
    Highest Weight Ever: 358
    Current Starting Weight (07/01/23): 293.2lbs
    Goal Weight for July: 270.0lbs
    Lont Term Goal Weight: 185lbs

    Weigh-ins: Saturdays
    07/01: 293.2lbs
    07/08: 287.7lbs
    07/15: 278.0lbs
    07/22:
    07/29:

    Total Weight Loss for July '23 = 15.2lbs

    Had a couple of celebrations with family this week, so my diet's been a little off. I'm hoping it doesn't affect my next weight in too much. Guess I'll find out soon. LOL.

    Hey @mnhughes22 welcome! Never too late to join in for the month :) As you can see it's a quiet one this month but these do happen a bit in the summer haha. Has always picked up again soon enough. In the mean time we can cheer each other on ^_^ I feel you on the celebrations too, was my anniversary last week haha. Managed not to go tooo crazy but def too many cocktails :P

    Looks like my celebrations caught up with me a bit. I took a little bit of a slide but I'll get back on the bandwagon this week.

    So I recently got a Fitbit and linked it to MFP. I realised yesterday that the walks I'd been doing make MFP add more calories to my daily allowance and I'd just been eating them lol -_- I'm sure the amount of calories burnt walking is overestimated too so that wasn't good! On an upside I know this now haha, and have groceries for a week of healthy eating arriving today. I'm still optimistic I can lose 4lb and reach my goal July by the end of the month ^_^

    @mnhughes22 your overall loss for this month is looking fantastic and we've a week left to go! Keep up the good work :D

    Man, I was 275 Saturday then stayed way under calories yesterday but there you go lol -_- Hope you end the month well @mnhughes22 ! I'll whack up a new challenge for next month if you wanna join in again i'll see you there :D
