These purple bulbs are at my local park - they are taller then ME and they will not be cut down when they go to seed they will be left to feed the lil birdies, I think that's cool !! I gotta go get things ready for weigh in tomorrow .. I am not at the weight I want to be, but I am not sweating it either. Have to start somewhere and where I start is good enough!! HI EVERYONE!
I am new here and not sure I am responding to this “intro” section correctly. I am Daweezer aka Louise — I live in Portland Oregon- work a little bit every now and then (mostly retired) and REALLY could use support and interaction from the “group”… sounds awesome to me! I have 2 dogs and a S.O., a big yard and love visiting my kids/grandkids/great-grandkids all over the world. I have lost/gained/lost etc so many times!! I want to kick my butt into a permanent healthier eating mode. I have achy feet-so a lot of walking is not always possible…. Looking forward to spending time with you! I hope I can find my way back here!

    Good Morning Airport Friends:

I hope you are all having a good morning. Today is Saturday and I am off work. Joe still has to work today but other than that we have a lot planned for today. We are going blueberry picking at my mother's house. Joe loves blueberries so we are going to go get some after he gets out of work and then we will go grocery shopping.

@tech_hunter - Sounds like you have been hard at work. Way to go on getting your walks in. I would definitely rock that new weight.
@LindieMaeP - Yes planes are hard to get a photo of. They move so quickly. Love that you did planes the day before our actual kick off.
@Dianedoessmiles1 - So glad you were able to take some time and relax.
@daweezer - Welcome. Love the clown look. It does look like you had a good time though.

Well it is time to get some food. I hope you all have a great day

@Tabatha_Cain , Awwww we sure did!! Today I am attending a large gathering to say goodbye to a few friends who are moving. Though we are sad over their going away, it'll be great for them as they reach out in life and help others. I'll have fun being in a more relaxed setting and watching the "younger" ones (LOL WHAT??? How did life go by so FAST!!???) play. But, I'll have a GREAT TIME ALSO!!

    Good Evening Everyone!

Welcome to all our new members!
    Love all the photos!

Today has been warm with rain and some sun. We really needed the rain. Got my walk in this morning before the rain. Also did my shoulder physio, calf raises and wall push-ups. I also did laundry, dishes and made apple crisp. Other than that did a little reading and watched some TV.

It's a very nice saturday afternoon and the breeze is cool depending on which direction you are facing - it's also hot, too hot for me. BUT I did get a walk on a bridge and got some pictures - boy was it noisy from all the traffic and the planes - one after another, and still right now one after another lol
@Tabatha_Cain enjoy that blueberry picking, I have blueberries every morning in my yogurt with flax seed and cinnamon - love it - I buy big bags of frozen and zap them in the microwave for a minute then add all the other stuff and swirl ... yup another plane gone by in less then 2 minutes !!
I hope everyone is having a good start to their 5% challenge - I know I am !!

Hello everyone. After a long absence and some medical issues I am back and hopefully fully charged and ready to go.
For anyone that was following, I ended up in the hospital in December with severe pulmonary embolus in both lungs and clots in my leg. Probably from sitting in the U Haul in October for 12 hours straight each way to pick up a load of hay and what I could fit of my stuff. I was cleared in March but they allowed me to go off the blood thinners and apparently my leg was not clear and I relapsed. This has not been a great year. Now I am clear to ride the horses and to do all of what I did before this happened but I am staying on the meds at a reduced dose. Before all of that, my well had started dying and I was hauling 5 gallon buckets of water to the horses from the one spicket that worked. They got that replaced and a hydrant to the barn put in. The house is almost done with the repairs and remodel and I have learned to hang or set interior doors. Just need to do the trim. Last will be the decks and I was supposed to do that yesterday but decided to actually use my day off for rest.
My filly, Aine, is back in Idaho for training. She is 3 years old this summer and is doing great under saddle. My last two weekends of lessons were canceled due to a death in the trainers family so I will be spending the next two weekends in Idaho with her. I am really looking forward to having a good trail horse and trails to take her on.
Now it's time to get back on track so I am as in shape as I was before this all happened. I am so glad to be back!

Thanks, @Tabatha_Cain, I will rock this weight and hopefully be in the 100s soon! My husband and I LOVE blueberries, hope you got lots!

@ohnogoldens - That sounds like a horribly rough year! Hope your repairs and upgrades go well at your house, pace yourself. When I had my place and 20 acres in Montana, it always felt like I had about 6 pages of to do list and sometimes I would overdo. My husband and I are in Idaho Falls now and we are looking for a good property. Our horse is still in Utah and we have to move her up. I am really pacing myself and planning so we can work smart. I don't want any injuries!

Speaking of pacing, husband and I went on a 4 mile creek fishing/hike and it was beautiful, but I ended up overdoing and a bit sick. We had plenty of water and electrolytes, I just can't handle heat well, and we started later than we should.

Everyone have a great rest of their Saturday!

    Good Morning Airport Friends:

I hope you are all doing well this morning. Today is Sunday and we have church and my son's high school graduation party today. We are going to be so busy this afternoon. I am hoping he gets a decent crowd of people coming to his party. That would be nice. He has worked hard for that diploma. He is also looking at a couple of jobs that will give him better pay. One is a peer support specialist at a therapists office. That will get him into the door for therapy which he has always wanted to be a therapist. So why not. He can start at peer support and use that money to get him through school. Good idea.

@Dianedoessmiles1 - Well things have definitely moved really quick. I cannot believe how fast.
@LindieMaeP - We actually went to my Mom's to pick blueberries. She has like 4 huge bushes and 2 more little ones that I got her a couple years ago for Mother's day. So they are just starting to produce. I love the bridge photos. They are amazing.
@ohnogoldens - That is a lot to happen to you in such a short amount of time. I hope the repairs are going well and getting done. Glad you are on the mend.
@tech_hunter - We did get a lot of blueberries. We will be making muffins and pancakes and waffles with them. The heat can make you sick. I have seen that before.

Well it is time to get some food. I hope you all have a great day.
